Cannot blame him if he wants to go to an established PL club but wouldn't he just be like Fabianski & play in only domestic cup matches? (Might it also effect his international prospects being benched all season?)

Or Joe Lewis, who has played one league game, and about 4-5 cup matches in 2 years for City?
 
There was a story a few weeks a go that Lloris was going to throw his toys out of the 'not in the CL' pram.

If that happens Spurs would surely be interested.
 
Will Marshall leave to be a second string goalkeeper at either Arsenal, Spurs or wherever. I think not, he signed a 4 year deal for security as his family are very settled in Cardiff. Plus if you look at Goalkeepers in general lots of them stay at the same club for years. After all it wasnt his fault that we had shyte defenders in front of him.
 
Season after season the rumours start as soon as the season ends. Like i have said previously, you are better off not looking at any of the sites or papers until the first or second week of August, then it becomes real. I hate the close season as we are devoid of football, this year a little different as we have the world cup, but i think as a family we will follow Glamorgan in their T20 campaign.
 
Its the silly season where many players will be linked with many clubs and its best to let it go over your head and wait until you see who reports back for preseason. Most links never materialize and some will be a total surprise. It's best to ignore everything and see who puts the shirt on next season...
