HP, got no beef with you or Wigan.

Something you may not be aware of when it comes to us and the numbers we will take to Wembley. We are the nearest club to Wembley stadium and as a district of London it is not far away at all. It may not be a home game from a stadium perspective but many of our fans will feel like it's just up the road. This means that we won't have to worry about traveling as such, so with that in mind, it will allow any of our fans that may be a bit hard up to still make the game. For that reason alone I have every faith we sell our entire allocation of seats.

I really do not think there is much doubt about that.

Oh i know that, just thought I'd let HP know why we won't have a problem with it. He may not know London that well.

I didn't go to the game as I was on holiday but remember watching it... The game before was the City 6-1 demolition of United which got us in the mood in the bar we were in but although it may not have had the goals... What a game it was (even though we lost).

The two red cards for us did us no favours but the fact we kept going till the end was great to watch and nearly scored (through Anelka I think). I thought Chris Foy was ****e giving 50/50 decisions to you every time but the atmosphere at Loftus Road did that. You're so close to the pitch is does make for an intimidating atmosphere when it's QPR v Chelsea. Especially this time as was your first time back up for a while.

I went to the cup game where we won 1-0 which was made a 12 o'clock kick off to stop any trouble between fans and the atmosphere was ok for that. Was in the lower tier and our lot were fairly loud.. Was surprised you didn't sell out. Then went to the 0-0 the next season at yours again in the lower tier and the atmophere was decent again for that.
I know a lot of Chelsea fans that don't want you up as at £55 a pop it's ****ing expensive but I wouldn't mind you coming up in honesty. Hope you beat Wigan because you would be a fine away and I haven't done Derby yet so it's sort of a win win!

The very reason I like everyone else is hooked by LR ... This year has been complete crap when i have gone because our fans base has lost its bollocks recently

Lat time it rocked by my standards was 3-2 against Liverpool and I was in the Liverpool end with mates and they were impressed by what we can do ...

Do it tonight for our club lads and lasses

Just read that derby will get their 37k tickets increased by 10 k if Wigan win because Wigan have no fans!

Prices are 37 to over 100 quid.

I don't believe it is a fact though Sussex. I know people who supported the Club at that time that don't hate Chelsea. I'd say there are a number on guys on here who feel the same. I'd hazard a guess at COL being one for example and I'm sure there's many more that haven't commented.

Either way though, hatred for a local football Club and its fans - whether it was justified in the past or not - is, in my opinion, just plain daft. Its 2014 now so hopefully that nonsense is gradually being left in the past where it belongs.

Some time ago our old friend Brix started a thread on the subject of 'hating' other teams (I can't figure out how to search on this site, always get useless results). He, I recall, couldn't bring himself to 'hate' any other club, and was a little mystified by those who do. I dislike a few clubs, including Chelsea, but reserve what I would call 'hatred' for more important things. The dislike does stir things up and add interest, but the contorted faces and 'two minute hate' like behaviour of some is scary. Anyway, we had a long debate about it and it seemed to hang on semantics, people using the word 'hate' too easily.

I've been lucky over the years, the only threatening situations I've got into have involved fans from Spurs, Lazio and Coventry. A little unpleasantness at Stamford Bridge in the early 80s, but that was my Dad's fault for getting us seats with the home fans and his inability to control himself when we won.

I think the best nights (and its usually night games) at LR have been when the energy is positive - we are urging the lads on (like against Liverpool) rather than venting our spleen against the opposition. Ferguson used to love the atmosphere at LR.

Hopefully I will get to meet up with them again, this time at Wembley. I would settle for the same score again, 3-2.

Kiwi, I read Stan's post yesterday and I typed in 'hatred of other teams' in the search box; a list appeared and lo and behold Brix's thread was number 3 or 4 in that list.

It helps if you know the title because it searches for key words. Doesn't always work though.

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search:
