Yes, the players are good, but they have moved up another level this season. Rodgers made some big calls with players coming in, going out, not moving for big money etc...Got them playing so well, and aggresively.
I always thought he lived off the success of our system at Swansea. We all ready played good football, and Rodgers learnt from it, and claimed it as his own. (To be fair, did a good job handling it!) But at Liverpool, he has really changed things, and implemented the type of football he learnt at Swansea. Credit to him.
Martinez also deserves huge credit...what a class act he has looked this season.
Pulis has done an incredible job saving them like he's done.
