Hate to be the bearer of bad news but...


Rickie Lambert's close pal and another mate of his on Twitter have been tweeting about this saying "who knew" and they've both got bets on it.

I mean it could be nothing, but I'm very inclined to think otherwise.
 
There is only two weeks between the end of the season and when the squad get together for the warm up matches. Whether Lallana goes or not, Saints are never going to accept the 1st bid which comes along.
 
This is going to be a very long summer. If i was a betting man i'd put money on adam not being here next season :(

All the ones I chat to on Twitter are ecstatic and said they're pleased he is coming from a great footballing club too.
 
The reason they lost the league this season is because they can't frigging defend!!!!!! So Adam is gonna improve them? They have enough number 10s to start a tobacco factory.. If it was Lovren I'd be worried... he would improve them.. I'm going to bed.. nigh night all.
 
Just a thought but Liverpool have one of the best front fours in the league. Where would Adam fit into this, i'm sure he would only want to go for first team football and Liverpool have an abundance of talent in the front third. After monday I would have thought they would be concentrating on strengthening their back 4.

Posted before I read the post above. Pretty much the same thinking there!

£20 million, think that's very low on the valuation scale. Take off the 25% that would go to Bournemouth that would leave us with £15 million for our Captain, best player and the same amount we got for Chamberlain in League 1!
 
£20,000,000 isn't enough. 25% is going to Bournemouth as well as the 13 years of development put in by the coaches add to that a pretty much guaranteed England international for the next 4/5 years.....closer to £30,000,000 would be acceptable.

I don't know why people are dabbling with numbers. First I'd say No, and when Liverpool didn't take the hint, I'd just put Adam's value out of their reach. We don't need the money, we need the player.

Of course, it's all rubbish anyhow.

He's saying that he knows Lallana's reps have had talks with AFCB over the 25% sell on clause in recent weeks. Not sure what good that'll do, with their recent financial results I can't imagine they'd be keen to downscale their claim. Now if we had a poor goal-keeper we could give them instead on the other hand........
