I'm getting a vague impression that you're not looking forward to the championship

    I don't believe that.

It's hard to predict football sometimes, 8 months ago there was no telling if things would improve or not, making the decision to stick or twist isn't so easy, didn't work out for Cardiff or Fulham, but it paid off for Palace. So either way is a big risk to stand by the manager or find a new one.

Weird how this worked out really, we lost to West Brom that put us in this position and now we're going down tonight because of them, not to sound bitter but my god I hope they get relegated next season lol

Where did it all go wrong? It seems too easy to just blame CH. I just can't believe that we are a worse team than WBA, Crystal Palace & Hull just to name but a few.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Just hope there isn't a disaster then and that some people could die, or wouldn't that bother you? <doh>

Well said K E M P - yes, CH often got his tactics wrong (or hardly ever got them right), but several players did not perform as well as they could have done. We REALLY should have beaten both WBA and Fulham and would now be safe!!!

A collective of problems. We've self destructed.

Hughton well we all know that one.

The fans have been a massive problem, firstly it starts with unrealistic expectations fuelled by a summer shopping spree which turns over confidence into disappointment and sheer panic. Why is the atmosphere at Carrow Road so flat though? The fans have this overwhelming sense of self entitlement that they want to be entertained, for those 90 minutes the players are out on the pitch you need to support that shirt get behind the players, then at half time after the game you can rip them to pieces, just don't sit their gorping like a zombie or tutting like a disapproving elderly lady, the atmosphere has been life sapping.

The players, some just didn't turn up we know who put in a shift and who didn't. One of the most noticeable things is we lacked a leader this season on the pitch, Bassong & Martin have both been absolutely useless as captains, the team had no confidence or organisation when they are out there. Some games we played to an intensity which would of seen an efficient and precise team finish others off 4-0 or so, yet we get 0-0 draws? We had plenty of possession in the final third but we were over erratic in possession, players get in each others way or over running the ball it was almost frantic, a bit of calmness and concentration would of helped.

Not to mention Cardiff away, Villa at home and away. What really hurt us is the Fulham double over us though.

Our away performances were simply awful.

this is a circular argument we ARE worse because F........ Hughton made us worse! I've kept off this boad lately letting it simmer but tonight it boils over - we are down because an idiot manager would not think about what he was doing and thought he was impregnable. He didn't care and would not adapt or even think properly sometimes - people are sacked unnecessarily these days but he chanced his arm way beyond this - angry angry angry angry
