No you have been worst bottlers since Newcastle. Five points clear with three games left. Two at home. One against chelsea b. And a gimme three points against a team with nothing to play for. Full squad pretty much. No cups or Europe to distract you. All players on form. Rivals such as City and Chelsea bottling it too and having injuries, suspensions and fixture backlogs You will never get such an easy opportunity to win the league again. You may win it one day but you will need a much better full time squad @FootballVines: Are Liverpool going to win the league Tony? https://t.co/4y7mPKmZMz
Here we go, the very, very predictable European cup is more important to the league (now you're unlikely to win it) response. Standard.
The usual ******ed response from the deeply disappointed RS fans... "Has anyone seen Steven Gerrard lift the premiership trophy yet"?
Do City have a stadium tour where fans can get their picture with the P.L trophy? If so, can we all chip in and send Stevie Me down their so he can finally have his picture taken with it?
The RS (if they do lose it next weekend) would have been the worst bottlers in the premiership. With an almost impregnable (if unexpected) position at the top, they took fright. With everyone (pundits, newspapers and TV) eulogising them: Racist is POTY, Stevie is best ever premiership player (), Coutinho the mainstay of Brazilian foorball , Rodgers best since Shankly (I remember a scouser coming on 606 and saying Rodgers was in between Shankly and Paisley in terms of ability ) , they started to believe their own hype. The reality is that the whole collapse revolved round that match with the chavs. Rodgers showed his naivety and totally messed it up. All he needed was to secure one point from Maureen. And Maureen would have been happy to get a point. The chavs were wasting time from the outset. And FFS even Moyes got one point from that match. With one point, the RS would not have needed to go for a goal glut at Palace. They would just have needed to get 2 simple victories and that first premiership title would have been theirs. At the end of the day, Rodgers could have been the biggest bottler, worse than KK for the magpies
We haven't "bottled" it, just been ****. You lot had one hand on the trophy but then choked on the pressure, thats bottling it Just watched match of the day, have not stopped laughing since!!

Yeh not sure how United bottled it. You have to have it in your grasp in order to bottle it. hence why Arsenal are the experts but their prodigy, Liverpool have learnt well.
City having all the possession and territorial advantage, but with Dzeko they offer nothing on the counter-attack and just lack a bit of class up front.
