I think he was just nervous.
I don't know, ever since he said “I am concentrating on the last two games and then I will sit down in the summer and see what happens” after the Everton game i've been worried.
I think he was just nervous.
I can't see him being nervous collecting his last award...he would be used to it by then. Sounded like a farewell speech to me with a smattering of guilt, then he added the sentence about staying to progress with the club with very little conviction. I'm a pretty optimistic fan, but he sounded like someone who isn't fully committed to Saints and feels ambivalent about it.
P.s. did Mauricio give a speech?
I best walk the 5mins it takes to get to the Itchen Bridge and marshal it tonight.
Well I would guess he has a little more of an idea about that than us.

This place is getting nearly as bad as Saintsweb......![]()
Well the current situation is "no offers", and I think if it remained that way he'd happily stay and be just as committed as ever. Unless he's been told he is definitely staying or going, which I doubt, I don't think he does know, and his equivocal answers show that I think.
I don't think anyone's being irrational, I wouldn't have even considered Lallana leaving a few weeks ago but in light of the comments he made after the Everton game and considering how emotional he seemed at the end tonight, i'm not so sure.
It was a joke hence theand ......
I am neither a positive or negative person. I don't jump on when stuff is said that seems to in a good or bad way. I am a wait and see what happens kind of guy. So that is what I will do here.
A passing comment maybe but as we know, that's not always enough to assure you of what will happen. So you don't think that Les or MP have had a private chat with Adam at all about his future during the weeks of speculation? Not even a passing comment?

Why are you posting? Why aren't you heading to the stadium to kidnap Adam?
The quote in isolation is good.
The way he awkwardly shuffled, cleared his throat, choked up, got emotional and said "I'll always remember my time here", "my five years with Rickie" etc. certainly felt more natural and honest than what followed.

Someone on SaintsWeb describing it as a "It's not you, it's me" break up message.
