I don't know, ever since he said “I am concentrating on the last two games and then I will sit down in the summer and see what happens” after the Everton game i've been worried.
Well the current situation is "no offers", and I think if it remained that way he'd happily stay and be just as committed as ever. Unless he's been told he is definitely staying or going, which I doubt, I don't think he does know, and his equivocal answers show that I think.
I think they should just stop Adam talking...he depressed me when I was on a high after the Everton game and now again when I had been enjoying the Awards evening.
I don't think anyone's being irrational, I wouldn't have even considered Lallana leaving a few weeks ago but in light of the comments he made after the Everton game and considering how emotional he seemed at the end tonight, i'm not so sure.
So you don't think that Les or MP have had a private chat with Adam at all about his future during the weeks of speculation? Not even a passing comment?
The line where he said he hopes to progress with the club did sound a little forced, whether that's because he knows a bigger club will make a big money bid that the club can't turn down, or that he want's to leave, or that he does seem a quite shy person, or quite literally anything else. It kind of did sound like a goodbye, but I hope it's not. It's going to be a long old Summer.
It was a joke hence the and ...... I am neither a positive or negative person. I don't jump on stuff when it is said or if it seems to be said in a good or bad way. I am a wait and see what happens kind of guy. So that is what I will do here.
A passing comment maybe but as we know, that's not always enough to assure you of what will happen. I think that's right, we are living in a world of facts after all. He's still our player until something happens to change that.
Break up messages don't usually end with "I want to keep progressing together" to be honest. I don't think you can read that much into what were really pretty ambiguous comments.
