The quote in isolation is good. The way he awkwardly shuffled, cleared his throat, choked up, got emotional and said "I'll always remember my time here", "my five years with Rickie" etc. certainly felt more natural and honest than what followed.
Awkward question to answer, and one that was correctly asked. I think he said the right thing. Everyone sees things differently, but he loves the club, that's for sure.
