Helps if a write it properly I suppose lol

He could claim his name is Luis Suarez in the media and it would make me cast doubt!

Basically, he says one thing here but something else in Uruguay. I wouldn't trust what he said ever.

The thing is we never know for certain what he's said and what is journalistic spin, or plain fabrication.
He's unpredictable, both on the pitch and off it, so I'm just resigned to sitting back and see what happens.
And hope he stays for a while longer.

The mancs have got a good selection of dirt to make threads about ranging from paying elderly ladies for the use of their wrinkly bodies to Guardiola Giggs's banging his Bros wife, Fergie keeping the Irish cancer charity money is rarely mentioned or Cantona's unjustified assault on a supporter and many more, but we don't want to resort to that kind of stuff, do we.

You forgot about evra being a liar and racist and Ferdinand drugs and racism

Let's be realistic here, Diego Costa is 25, so 2 years younger, and has 36 goals this season, 6 more than Suarez including 7 CL goals, not to mention he plays in La Liga a tougher division, and he is going for around 32 million. So why would anyone want to pay obscene amounts for Suarez when there's a superior striker, going for less

How much is that Suarez in the window (gnash gnash)
The one with the prominent teeth
How much is that Suarez in the window (goal goal)
Now he's turned over a new leaf?

Very good point.

Great. So he's going nowhere then.

If you're being realistic you'd have only made the comparison based on their respective league goals tally due to Suarez not playing in the CL this season, so Suarez has 30 goals in 31 league games, so Costa has 27 in how many games?

Liverpool would have been poorly seeded so chance are your group would have contained some top sides.

His goal tally would be no higher. As you know, the new leaf suarez doesnt score against top sides.

Isn't that our plan, to price him so that he ends up staying with us? (Not sure he will though)

<laugh>

Moving the goalposts again UIR to exclude old leaf goals against top sides,

Ok...

So united are the best team in the country? Surely you wouldnt base suarez goal record over a longer period that liverpool and uniteda records over a similar period or indeed any other club in the country....

If you make a statement that Suarez can't score against big teams you can't pick and choose the when, he has scored against against top teams so your point is null and void.

Yes but on the flip side Diego Costa has scored against his title rivals, and is proven in the CL. So he's a proven big game performer. Suarez still has it all to prove on that front, having chocked against Liverpools title rivals, and having never played CL. Diego Costa is also 2 years younger, so he's clearly a more attractive option for big clubs who need a striker

Or is what we did over the past few seasons irrelevent in the context of this season?

World Cup, Copa America, not BIG games?

You show your fear of him staying with every pitiful post by wanting him gone from LFC for as little as possible.<laugh>

Back in the days when Utd were a top club Rooney couldn't score a goal against us, can't remember that having any baring on his potential value at the time mate.
