I didn't see too many people laughing the season before this one when we won the Championship. The anti-red campaign had few followers then too. The anti-Tan and red bandwaggon has gained momentum because we had a bad season. Yes, Tan has done some things which are hard to understand but also as the figure head of the club he is there to be shot down, figuratively speaking of course. A good start to next season will see many of the issues put on the back burner again.
Regarding Tan, there are truths, half truths, assumptions and lies. Shifting your way through it all, with the snippets we get that are actual facts! is impossible. We shall see in the coming months if he is the interferer that he is made out to be, or someone who felt his hand was forced at certain times. If it wasn't for the rebrand I think most of the other stuff reported would be non starters, although he hasn't endeared himself to the fans. Also, I don't think the predicted firesale will happen, but this will depend on how Tan views Ole and his capability to get us straight back up, I suspect Tan lays all the woes of failure at Malky's door anyway, and to show that he has to back Ole.
Tan is a liability and has cardiff in his pocket. He always have since day one. the test will be if he pays off cardiff's huge debt instead of how he is doing things at the moment. Show some true commitment and stop holding a gun to the clubs head and maybe he will get the support from everyone instead of those too afraid to go against him in case he runs away. Show everyone you mean business and pay cardiff's debt and that will prove he has the clubs best interest at heart and not just a venture he thought would make him money that has failed.
it may surprise you dai that many foreign owners came in to the business of owning a football club purely as a business venture, and we're no different. ie glazers, FSG, lerner, shahid khan, liebherr, ashley etc. whatever tan does its clear that its a business venture, despite all the enjoyment that one gets from parading a premier league club to all his corporate mates and laughably, the adulation he thought he was going to get from the fans, the most important issue is the finances for the owner, and that goes for every club in the league, with the exception of maybe man city and chelsea.
WOW I never thought I'd see a Jack wanting to pay debt off in full !!! 10p in the £ maybe but in full ? can't see that from a Jack ever.
Dai Jones - you seem like a very bitter individual and keep banging on about our admins in the past when you really should be thinking about how your club is going to progress in the future. In many ways these are exciting times despite your inevitable relegation. You could get some decent investment from Tan and rebuild, thereby bouncing back pretty quick or he could **** off, call in the loans and you'll be in the Blue Square in no time. So much to look forward to.
I don't think Dai is bitter, fed up of the explosion of jacks on the Cardiff board maybe, but that's understandable. You shouldn't take it to heart so much if you're going to keep posting on here.
Dragon! To be honest I wish you and Tan would clear off. Your gloating is beginning to resemble irrational psychological behaviour. Maybe time to take a little break from the screen don't you think?
Who's taking anything to heart? Just making an observation. Suck it up. If the positions were reversed I'm sure we'd be swamped by your lot as it's inevitable with local rivalry. If your fans keep dishing it out about our past then they can expect no mercy when you get relegated can they? One of them yesterday said that if we had gone out of existence nobody would have given a ****. With comments like that you can expect to get it back. snlk: diddums. You see comment after comment here about our admin and yet when we give it back we're told we're gloating.
Perhaps, if you didn't spend every waking hour on a Cardiff City football forum you wouldn't get so tearful. Now dry your eyes and go out to play. The sun's out.
The point you obviously can't grasp is the reason there are comments about your admins is because you are over here giving it large. If you and your ilk weren't here shooting your mouths off, they wouldn't be made. Are you that thick you can't understand that?
What Spark said. Bunch of whining cry babies. "Mummy but he said............." You would swear they were the supporters who's team had gone down.
"What Spark said" - like a little guy cowering behind the bigger one. My team is in the Prem next season thanks, and I'm well aware it. oldsparkey: as for being "thick" I'm told by Libertarian that you said Bony was a donkey. I'll leave others decide who's thick. Not for me to say. Now I'll leave you to your sorrows as you're clearly a little sensitive right now and your usual excellent sense of humour seems to have deserted you. Have a good day gents.
well that settles it then libertarian said it so it must be true, Sparkey you can't be a mod anymore because libertarian said you called someone a donkey...When will your reign of terror end?
4ever - I don't know how I can live with myself being so nasty to him by suggesting he was thick. I'll have to say 3 Hail Marys and ask for forgiveness from the supermods....... Lib (VETCH) did post a thread up over there in my honour recently for doubting Bony earlier in the season. I don't recall actually calling him a donkey - I think he must be referring to Dobbie a couple of years back who I called Dobbin........ What I did say about Bony back around last October was exactly the same as many Swans supporters were saying - he was fat, unfit and overpriced in respect of his performances to that time. They seem to want to forget that era and their own opinions at the time. Things have changed and the guy has come on a storm - they are very fortunate to have him. If we had that sort of front man, we'd still be in the Prem - the fact that they have him is probably the only reason why they still are.
From admin to being in the top 50 richest clubs. Now that's the way to do it....and becoming an established premiership club in the process, I would say we got things right and the route cardiff went down got it all wrong..
