The second was one of those moments of comedy slapstick when the Barnsley defender and Charlie Austin both went for a ball that Doyle passed from the right hand edge of the box for Charlie to run on to. The defender and Steele confused each other and it bobbled in off the defender. From what I saw nobody actually got a good touch on it.

It's a pity you missed the first because it was a swift attack from deep in our own half with several players passing to players who had run into space culminating in Charlie Austin finding himself clear in the box to put it away directly in front of us. The pace of the move showed that we too can do it if we want to.

Is it too much to hope that we will be adventurous again on Friday night? I can't help thinking that Wigan will expect us to play our usual slow passing possession game. Watching them play with purpose and desire makes such a difference.

Yun should def start. Didnt put a foot wrong today

Petrasso looks like Hoilett with more determination & vision and more importantly likes to shoot

Both Barnsley goals came from their POTY who is also their top scorer. His second goal had all the rangers fans appluading him. A superb solo effort but outshone by Yuns. If Bale or Ronaldo had scored that they would all be talking about it.

Can i also say that 918 away fans for a dead rubber match up north the same week that we have a playoff game and a bank holiday weekend to boot is a great turnout

I did get hit on the head by an inflatable killer whale at one point though

Great day out. Sitting in the garden in the sun with a nice cup of earl grey. Top top day

And to round it all off, Ollie and Marc Bircham and all our ex-players managing in League's 1 and 2 got the performances, results and luck they needed. Is it pure coincidence or just delusion on my part that the sun is shining today?

Actually it's just clouded over. Does that mean Citeh are winning?

Harry should take another look at this - interesting comments attached:-

"If he played most games he would be one of the best players on the pitch"

"Hoping Harry sees how good he really is now, hoping he's got his starting place in the squad"

"was really impressed with his performance at boro, cant believe harry has chosen hill at left back a few times this season when this guy is around. surprisingly strong and very quick, just what we need atm."

    "harry should watch this.."

"Decent player! I like hill as a centre back but why has he been playing left back when this guy is up and down the left flank like a shot"

"In my opinion the reason why Hill starts over Young is because Hill has been consistent and reliable over the years. He leads the QPR team as he has been captain before. Young is only 24, he cannot lead as he doesn't have the experience of Hill, hill is still a really good player at 35 years old, id pick him over Young until Hill retires. Wenger might want to look at Young as a cheap alternative for a LB, at the moment Gibbs is playing good but Young might sneak in the first team if he plays like this."

Yun has already proved more consistent than BAE, hill has also stated he can't play lb.
If hill plays LB, hughes or Dunne play CB and we weaken both LB and CB over the refusal to play Yun.

    Everyone can see it.

I must say Mr 9's that we all much prefer the match day threads you do like this one with a happy ending.

Please can you promise to do the next three (hopefully) like this?

That last quote is wrong imo as I would still play Hill, but at CB instead of Dunne.
