I wanted Everton in the CL over Arsenal only because it gives them a chance to represent the city, which I as a foreigner think it deserves. A healthy Everton usually means a healthy Liverpool and vice-versa.

I don't hate Arsenal and obviously you'd do better for the co-efficient but I wanted them to get some recognition for what they've achieved this season.

Well they don't seem to give a sh!t about what you've achieved this season, so why care for them?

 

We try to put the city first. Their #bitterness does make it a harder task though.

 

TBF if there was a real chance they could then I think "most" everton fans would still want everton to win today and then just accept what it meant for us.

Not really - just trying to give the illusion of it being close and that they tried hard so no one can call credability of the result

What's most frustrating is.. Goodison is such a tough place to win, yet City have been lacklustre and still looking as if they're taking the three points/
