Hamman is hovering like a vulture still....better the devil you know I say, as a fan buyout is impossible due to your still relative lofty postition :)

The rich boys of QPR, Blackburn etc were expected to take their money and run on relegation too. Tan may surpriae you yet. A quick change of shirt colour next season would be a massive statement of intent.

Commiserations boys, it's a shame that all 3 promoted Clubs couldn't maintain top-flight status, but with an owner like Tan, it was always unlikely.

I'm sure you'll bounce back quite soon.

As well as a massive increase in revenue fron shirt sales

Do you recon he will do it? A simple thing that would automatically galvanise you as fans, the team and the finances

The generation of revenue from the sale of blue team shirts is hardly going to galvanise finances - the amount involved from that income source is minimal when compared to others.

I would however wholeheartedly agree that a change back to blue would be a very wise thing for Tan to sanction - it would surely bring all elements of the club together for next season.

The question is whether Tan is prepared to accept that premise, and then seem in the eyes of many to be backing down.

Purple? Would keep Tan happy as it's a 'royal' colour in Asia, amd it's kinda blue. Maybe we can give them our away kit from this season.....with Premiership logos removed of course. <laugh>
