I can't see us surviving with any less than two wins now.

West Brom are 4 points ahead of us with a vastly superior goal difference, and I can't see Sunderland failing to get a point from Swansea and/or WBA at home.

Man United absolutely have to score!

You have to hand it to Sunderland they deserve to stay up. We on the other hand have lacked the fight and desire needed to get out of it and on performences all season deserve to be one of the bottom 3.

    Goodnight Vienna,

That's it for us now. We are NEVER going to win at the bridge and beat arsenal. Oh well we had a few seasons in the PL, let's hope for a swift return. Actually I don't I've hated the last 2 seasons.

Just sounds like the right thing to say.

A miracle would be winning a game against anyone, what we need is divine intervention.

I don't think two wins would be enough now.

38 points might be enough, but it's purely academical because we won't beat Chelsea and arsenal.

One of the girls I live with has just announced to the world that's she's a Sunderland fan. Funny how quiet she's been about that until this weekend, and now she's jumping around the house saying how they're staying up. Classy.

No it wouldn't. We need two wins and one of the sides above us to have a complete meltdown - I can't see either of those things happening.

I would mind quite as much had it not been so avoidable. Neither CH or NA could've or would've saved us, the damage had been done well before... The whole feeling around club has been a negative one for so long, and we needed that to change earlier, regardless of results on the pitch... I think the board realised this, but they really messed up by not taking the bull by the horns and trying to eek it out to the summer. Gutted, just gutted. Congrats to Sunderland who deserve to be here. Incredible what they've done given the Di Canio debacle... All I can possibly hope is that we keep a few players, and we should make a decent fist of it. Neil Adams is not the man to do this. He just isn't. Which is a shame as he is the one person who would bring through what is a promising crop of young players... We really need to draw a line under the past two seasons as quickly as we can...
