I'd also like to point out that at 27:38, if you look to the left of your picture, Cortese is wearing a Saints scarf.
I can't see her, but the boy who is always with her (Markus' grandson?), is in the front row of the director's box with a Saints scarf on.
Great to hear how much it means to Rickie in particular, knowing that in just over a year's time he would be scoring his first goal for England...
That was a great day. Much beer was consumed. The funniest thing about that week was how a few fans, including a couple on this forum, completely bottled it and thought we'd lose.
I have been known to have the odd bit of wine at matches (actually, weird fact - I have been to every home league game in the last 10 years bar 3 and we have not won in 8 years if I have been 100% sober) but on that day, I had enough wine to justify getting the train, but held back to savour the day. That day will only happen once in a supporter's lifetime if they are lucky and I wanted to savour it!
Yeah, that was excellent. Spotted Cortese with huge grin and Saints scarf, as you pointed out, and spare a thought for Coventry fans. I thought they were really great on that day, and just as we let out a huge sigh of relief that we didn't get bought out on the cheap by SISU [well done Lowe for spotting that false dawn], check out 23.25mins. There's a happy Billy Sharp, arms aloft, joining in. In the background...
27:36, top left What a day that was, all those players no longer with us, but such a part of our journey (except Forecast), never forgotten.
Good spot. Maybe she's not been as anonymous as some of us thought. Talking of Kat, she was at the Saints staff match tonight at St. Mary's.
Wonder how the game went. I suspect a few members of staff are limping this morning...Mauricio will take no prisoners...you only have to look how delighted he is to beat one of the squad at some game (the beaten team member usually just looks bemused).
