Seems like Mourinho's using Tony Pulis' old playbook from his time at Stoke.
Compact, defensive, time wasting and playing for long throws into the box, at the moment.
Very sensible to start like that and take the sting out of the game.

Chelsea seem to be standing off Glen Johnson and allowing him a ton of space. I guess they don't see him as a threat.
It appears to be working, but is that a good idea? Time will tell, I guess.
 
Atkinson's made it clear that he's going to add on Chelsea's time wasting. They won't care.
It's not just about running down the clock, it's also about disrupting Liverpool's flow.
Not the way to deal with it, in my opinion.

Haha, Atkinson continues to let Liverpool get away with everything adding an extra 2 minutes on added time and letting Coutinho get away with a high foot on Liverpool's way to winning a corner. It's sad when the referees are so bad that Mourinho's conspiracy theories start to look almost realistic.

Agreed. Book one and watch them all panic when they're taking a freekick. No one wants to be on a yellow for 60/70 minutes of a big match, it's only late on when it makes more sense to add the time on and not waste more with a booking.
