You should have heard the Fulham love in on NBCSN, they were totally one-sided. Dean Sturridge was given the job of talking about our tactics for the second half at half time and decided to talk about Fulham instead. meh
Fulham didn't seem much of a threat to me and we at least could pass it better. However the play was nowhere near positive and lively enough, we could have taken this to them from the start. Against a team like Fulham an open game isn't so bad, not like the Arsenal game at all where it should have been tighter.
It looked pretty bad when they got the 2nd, I thought it was over, I could only see them scoring again, but that goal from nothing was what was needed. Harper's save was the huge swing too!
I hope some of you aren't like this watching a match and if you are sat near me at Wembley and act like a clown shoe then we are gonna have words. Just support the bloody team.
Have you never predicted a football result wrong? You must be a very wealthy man. If you want to now go on the pre match score prediction thread and tell all those who got it wrong...
You say this, knowing that if we'd have lost you'd be on here on all night ****ing yourself silly about how right you were. Tool.
Man Utd will be first, no matter what the score. I can see us being second or third, with Swansea 4-1 Villa being the other one in contention. Villa losing 4-1 is a very good result, it has hopefully smashed their confidence, and on top of their very poor home form, we should go there looking for 3 points imo.
At 2-0 my tin hat was going on. 2-2 is brilliant for us. We're surely safe now, we showed our spirit. All is good. I'm mildly pissed. Delighted.
No ? required, Partyboy. Just read a few pages of this thread. Kin'ell, some right ****ing wrist-slashers on here.
What the ****ing hell are you on about? I CLEARLY said I don't want my prediction to come true. Don't you ****ing try and lump me in with the mob having a go at the players and manager.
The commentary I had was bias against us. In the first 45 we made Fulham sit back in their own half. We forced them into a tactical change and the only thing that held us back were the yellow cards. As for the penalty, if Long could have stayed on his feet I believe he would have scored. The second half subs by Fulham were a desperate measure, they had to gamble, whilst we just had to push. Aluko did make a difference, but he lost the ball to often and some of his attempts to get past defenders looked weak. He is not up to starting a game yet and I have my doubts that he will be with us next season, he did not look interested when Steve Bruce was giving him directions. On our overall display I do think that we deserved 3 points. But I will take one point like that any day of the week. Based on todays performance I think Fullham will be lucky to escape the drop.
"First half was a non event, and that's the way we wanted it" - quote from Steve Bruce on R5. Maybe wanting to score goals as in the last half hour may be a better tactic? Just saying - feel free to shoot me down...
Agreed. **** knows what will happen if we go one down in the Final against Arsenal. "You clueless **** Bruce" "They're not interested" "Why hasn't he played Aluko from the start? Rubbish Bruce! Why don't we play 4-3-3?. Boo!" "We are going down if we play like this next season" "I said we would lose against Arsenal and I was right" The stench of appeasement and quislings will be almost tangible. It's better they're flushed out on here before the big day.
