All founded by Germans?
No - wouldn't that make it GP?
Is Australian football like we play or their odd fighting game with a ball added to call it sport?
Football as we know it - and the answer could also have a mistaken reference to cricket.

Apparently BP was originally the marketing arm of the German Europäische Petroleum Union in the UK. It was bought by the Anglo-Persian Oil Company in 1916. It's strange to think that BP was a German Company in Britain for the first half of WWI. I wonder how APOC paid for it?

I've only found William Knox D'Arcy, who also owned gold mines in Australia. I can't find the football connection unless that has something to do with George Bernard Reynolds or the Burmah Oil Company.
Is it Walter Hall? You will have to explain his connection with football.
Is there a link with Mao to mayonnaise? I know in Belgium they have it with their chips. Maybe one of the ingredients was brought back from Mao to France.
My last match was a Stanley Cup game at the Flyers.... shame they wear orange white and black... I also got to see them in training in Berlin, New Jersey. Their netminder went from cult to legendary status overnight. Who was he and what is the story?
It's a town in Mallorca - my Dad used to have a habit of exploring where we were without a map and we came across it when my family were on holiday there when I was a child. There was some plaque there and although it was in Spanish, I managed to guess it had something to do with a battle and the French. I think that there is a crop grown there that the oil from it is used in mayonnaise.
Pelle Lindbergh was Flyers goalminder and Mikhail Yeremin and Ibrahim Dossey were football goal keepers all died in car accidents.
VE Day in the UK is on May 8th and Liberation Day in the Channel Islands is on May 9th. There is a part of that statement I have omitted - what is it?
