Cala was offside when Caulker shot so it's just unfortunate he staryed a foot off. Both were technically penalties IMO as they were fouls ie contact or intent but were ridiculously soft. City hit the wood twice. Stoke once. Marshall made 2 great saves. As dis Berkovic; IMO the 2 best keepers in the league. If that game had been played in November then we'd have been happy with a point especially when our UNfit players flagged in the last 10 minutes. But it was disappointing to see such a lack of lustre and drive, passion or cutting edge in the last 20 minutes. City are down.
Not till we've played Sunderland Nin. Can't be down with such a huge '6 pointer' to play. The fitness thing is a concern, surely being super fit and committed is the one thing we are allowed to demand without exception from our incredibly well paid 'stars'. KTC is the one I really don't understand, he ranges from pretty solid to superb in the first 65 minutes then his performance level absolutely plummets with match costing consequences. He seems to lose all form whilst running and makes Andrew Taylor look like Usain Bolt! Surely tactically we should recognise he shouldn't be getting past 70 minutes or we can't expect the same amount of running from him so he can save a bit for the final 20.
What if..... We have to take points off the Mackems on the last day of the season to keep you up? A possible and interesting scenario.
Yes, we know. You've been chortling your little socks off about it on the thread you put up on your board. True colours coming out over there now, and we over here should have no problems with that. All's fair on the forums, but before that fortunate win on the weekend at St James, your lot were gagging for survival - what a difference a game makes to the atmosphere on these boards.
No chortling at all and perhaps you shouldn't be quite so sensitive. We're not out of the woods yet and we know that though beating the Toon helps. Nothing fortunate about the result either so that's rather curlish of you. Even Newcastle fans agree we dominated the game and deserved the points so you appear to be rather ill informed, or are being deliberately provocative. As for the poll it's a perfectly valid question for Swans fans really and I'm sure you'd be doing the same if the positions were reversed. Many would take a draw or a loss to send you down but the poll suggests the majority take the opposite view. I note that you left that out of your post. If you read the thread I was deliberately neutral so where are these 'true colours' you speak of? You're a bit abrasive to outsiders aren't you? Apologies for not praising your Club to the skies. That appears to be a prerequisite to be allowed to post something here without criticism.
Dragonborn - get used to the forum and stop moaning about being posters being rude. I've already said that there should be no problem between posters about the content of your thread - it would have been exactly the same over here had the situations been reversed. If you don't like being shot at over here, don't visit. Likewise, if you want to "chortle" with the rest of your guys over any subject, please carry on. There were several comments (even a thread for God's sake!) about me across there yesterday - I take it for what it is, just banter and haven't responded to avoid any conflict. If you feel the need, fill your boots. I've got no problem and certainly wouldn't tag the likes of VETCH and Phil who were having a good laugh with being "rude". I'll post what I like over here - if you don't like it, why don't you complain to your mods and stop whining about the comments over here - you might get me banned for being "rude".
Like I said - sensitive No "whining", no "chortling", no "moaning". Just observations. Thought I could do that on a forum. Sorry but I don't expect to be "shot at" over here at all unless I ask for it. How mentioning that scenario does that I really don't know. Your mentality appears to be that unless an outsider posts something praising your Club they are "shot at" by you. In fact Jay took you to task over the same approach last week and you apologised. It's unfortunate that you're not learning. Have a good day.
Dragonborn! Or should I call you groovy boy? You seem to border upon the obsessive when it comes to your capital city. Do you realise you post more on this board than many City fans? Find something else to do and get out of your bedroom. Go look for a job even.
Dragonborn - I'll have a very good day whether you're over here or not. However, we can accept that your lack of understanding of how a football forum works is a bit embarrassing for you. If anyone on this forum objects to what I post and the way I reply to you, I'm sure they'll have enough balls to post it on this thread. Please post away guys - no sweat. When everyone has done, perhaps we all avoid this personal stuff and get back to the thread subject.
I pay visits to lots of boards not just my own but got to say you lot are the most unwelcoming, particularly that old sparky guy. He had to apologise to me last week when Jay told him to wind his neck in. He was right. I haven't been rude to anyone or provocative so why the attitude? I've come to the conclusion you're just not very nice people. I may have to rethink my vote on that poll. Got better stuff to do than tit for tat with you guys. Good luck on the weekend. I actually think the Mackems are on the up and will win. Sorry if that offends you, just an opinion. See ya.
...........you've got so much to learn pal (that's if you're really "new" ). Does this guy's style look vaguely familiar? Even something of an antipodean flavour about it. Resurrection no. 14?
I've had rashes that were easier to get rid of. The words, "a", "life" and "get" spring to mind, just in a different order, for our friend Dragonborn.
It's three out of four of us.I can't see WBA not getting something from their four games you,Sunderland and Fulham need two wins and we need one.It may be clutching at straws but I can see reasons why we might get a win out of Man U (turmoil) Chelsea (Champions League +injuries) or Arsenal (already fourth + Cup final) Exciting times.
