Moyes will be looking for a new job in the summer. He will have to make a step down of course but the timing could be perfect.

Wenger may well be about to end his arsenal career should you win the FA Cup. No better job for Moyes ( once tipped as a potential Arsenal manager lest we forget ) to walk into. He would be a perfect fit.

I think were beyond inevitable now. Hes basically your problem/manager.
The spuds will be looking for a manager in the summer. They're about Moyes level.

I suggested Moyes for the Spuds a few seasons ago and they jumped down my throat, but he would be a good fit for the spuds. Not good enough to manage a CL club but a decent enough manager to help the clubs in the next tier push for a Europey spot.

Theres a lesson here for US .

For all those who worship at that altar .

You wouldn't want him to choose his successor.........would you ?

There is a lesson for us to learn from this but it's not the one you are claiming. As Toledo points out there were plenty on here who wanted Moyes over Wenger.

... there were a number on here that would have happily taken Moyes instead of Wenger this season.

Also, what is likely to happen now at Utd is that Ryan Giggs will take over, in the short term at least. There's no way they are going to bounce back with him in charge and as has been pointed out this could be the start of years in the doldrums for them.

The lesson for us is not to go down a similar route and dispense with Wenger in a knee jerk fashion, because we'd end up with Steve Bould as temp manager and in all likelihood, struggle to even maintain what we have.

The lesson is that replacing your manager is not an instant fix as some like to try and make out.

It wasn't that long ago that Martin O'Neil was flavour of the month with some Arsenal fans.

Who exactly claimed they wanted Moyes? Genuinely interested to know... Have you got the links to people that typed that please?

Anyway, stop doom mongering. You've claimed that Rodgers appointment was a one off fluke, but Moyes catastrophe is the norm and evidence as to why we shouldn't follow suit and change manager?

Why is Moyes the lesson and not Rodgers? Because it fits your own opinion?

I have seen retweets on Twitter today saying Moyes should replace Wenger.

There has been Martin O'Neill, David Moyes, that prick Piers Morgan was saying 'Arry was better than Wenger and lest we forget even Fat Sam was touted as a replacement for Wenger. All utter **** and anyone of them would have dragged us down into the depths. People accuse me of all the Wenger apologist bollocks, but I will challenge anyone of them to show me a manager that has been suggested who's done a better job elsewhere.

Lol yeah , i would like to see these post from the people who wanted Moyes. where are they ?

name them and prove this ridiculous statement .

more waffle.

:emoticon-0113-sleep

I can't remember who but it was definitely said by more than one and on more than one occasion. Your weak attempt to kick it into touch doesn't wash, but it does speak volumes about how quickly some people change their tune.

Anyway, thank **** we didn't go down that route and dispense with Wenger for Moyes.

Or MON, or Arry, or Fat Sam.

.

oh dear .

asking someone to back up their statement is " kicking it into touch " now

If only stupid waffle could be backed up by them proving that it was said , it would make this place MUCH more harmonious.

Unfortunately , there are a few members who are not blind or stupid so,its the waffle that doesnt wash .

ever.

I find it interesting though that Moyes gets the sack , and the Wenger worshippers somehow try to turn it into " see , look what happens , see how lucky we all are "

No , i dont see how MOyes getting the sack , validates Wenger .

But please , carry on , im intrigued to see where you are going with it.

<cool>

The Moyes advocates were for real. The debate went along the lines of: he's done well with Everton with their squad, so imagine what he could do with Arsenal. Those who questioned that said that he was untested at the top level. He has been now and he's failed.

@kpsundayworld: David Moyes has been installed among the favourites to take over at Tottenham. Daniel Levy tried to get him once before so....#THFC #MUFC

Hang on... YOU'RE the one being asked to prove something. If you can t then it's your comment that doesn't wash.

If it was definitely said then find it.

That maybe. But I want to see these comments. Link them please.

Robin van bergkamp, who is a mod n th other site claimed fat sam should replace wenger
