Some of these may just be angry bets so take them with a pinch of salt however, I did say on yesterdays thread that there were a few good opportunities today and here they are as I see it.

Fakenham 1.55 Regal D'estruval

Back in a seller at Fakenham. Maller Tree may be a tough nut to crack but I think this is the right bet. May open around 4/1.

Fairyhouse 3.15 Get Me Out of Here 3/1

Got to take Thousand Stars on at the prices. I might be wrong but that horse is not as good this season as he has been in previous years. GMOOH has won this race in the past and is the only real challenger to the fav. 3/1 seems fair to me in what should be a 2 horse shootout.

Im off to fairyhouse tomo so any thoughts would be appreciated! Irish national is a mare per usual!

Home Farm 12/1 in Irish National for me. Arthur Moore's charge finished 3rd last year as a 6 YO which was a heck of an effort for one so young. Been given 3 'sighters' this year, I'm completely happy to take 12/1 as this one will be tuned up to perfection by a wily trainer who knows how to win a handicap and has already won this race twice. I actually thought he'd be shorter, he'll go off 7s and definitely should make the frame at least, given normal luck in running.

I see the forum's favourite old boy Mossey Joe reappears at Cork 5.15. Anyone chasing their Aintree loss on him tomorrow at likely odds-on?!

Good luck

The Irish National is a lottery for me so I'm going 5 against the field; Goonyella, Tammys Hill, Cause Of Causes, Sraid Padraig and 1 other. If stick says Pendra is expected to appreciate the extra trip and run well then that's my 5th. If not I'll throw in Shutthefrontdoor

I'll leave Pendra in.

The Westener Boy 16/1 is the McManus one to be on in the Irish National tomorrow. 2 satisfactory runs since his comeback from injury will have him spot on for this tomorrow. Big run expected and I will be on each way as a lot can be left to lady luck in a race of this nature. Good luck fellas :emoticon-0148-yes:

Cause of causes interests me to ron as do kelly brooks assets.gary o brien tipped up the western boy too sth so il prob back both ew

How is PT stick? Should get a handy handicap mark now. She does seem happy bowling along up with the pace. She's jumped 24 hurdles now and barely touched a twig.

I have two fancies at this stage for tomorrow, both at the seaside.

Yarmouth 2.25 Two No bids 7-2
This horse will have too much in this grade now. He runs tomorrow from 65 but has risen to 79 on the all weather over the winter after winning twice in a grade 5 and grade 4. Tomorrow he can run in a grade 6 again due to his turf mark being lower and I expect him to take advantage.

Yarmouth 3.00 Lawyer 5-2
This horse also won two races on the all weather, and did so with a ton in hand. I feel he is undoubtedly the best horse in this race, I am unsure if he will win only because no one loves a racecourse gallop in a real race more than Luca Cumani. It is amazing that the term will come on for the run is allowed as everyday speak in racing still. Trainers nowadays can and do choose to go straight to the Guineas without a run as it is very easy to get a horse ready to offer his best without a run now, despite this some choose to still offer up runners in actual races short of race winning fitness. Some trainers horses are known to come on for the run and none more so than Luca, so if the horse is ready he can win this easily if not however he will run a good prep. I will take a chance as I can see little opposition other than the Gosden horse Westminster, if excused his last run which clearly was all wrong. On the note of training it must be applauded that Gosden always brings his horses ready to run, win or lose.

Good luck all

Cork Hunter Chasers & Amateur Jockeys Card <wah>

Morning! Driving from East Clare to the beautiful Bantry Bay, West Cork to collect the daughter today, as Mallow, Cork Racecourse is approx mid way on my journey thought we'd call in on the return trip to see the mighty Mossey Joe.

Haven't got a clue about the rest of the card, Hunters & Amateur jockeys, so would appreciate any advice ?

Good Luck All!

Goonyella @ 14/1 & The Westener Boy @ 16/1 Irish National

I'm using my new angle for selection regarding these National races, ie. They both ran very well over hurdles the last day!

Good Luck to all who play :headbang:

Tricky affair that Irish Grand National. I like Folsom Blue but he hasn't got his ground. Instead I've opted for a tentative ew on Rogue Angel @ 25s. Ran well enough in the 4 miler at Cheltenham on decent ground so I'm hopeful he'll (a) get the trip and (b) act on the surface. Off a featherweight too. Good luck to anyone punting today.

BPG at Redcar today, has been laid out for this as a tribute to the late main owner and will be the last horse to race in Broctune colours, sad day, but the fella is fit and tom gets on very well so a place at least is expected im on to win and place
Meanwhile James has 3 great chances at Huntingdon Waltz Darling being the best, Sambelucky and I Got Power have potential but are in small fields

just passing on the love amigos

Im at Redcar and on call so will be sober and will pass on anything i get
keep them phones on boys

and as ever

STAY FROSTY

She came out of her race just fine Ron thank you. I was a little disappointed with how readily outpaced she was four out but conditions were a bit quick and the sharp track really didn't suit her. I also don't feel that she really appreciated another run so soon after the last one. Kielan said she kept going all the way to the line but she needs a trip and ideally a galloping track on good to soft ground.
She is on her holidays now and will come back in around July and be prepared to run around September time. They think she will get a mark around the 90 mark which actually looks a little high to me but they think she will improve by around a stone by the time we see her again!
