We came bottom of the Behaviour of the team officials :). The rating includes ''Positive and negative aspects of the team officials’ conduct will be assessed – such as whether they calm down or provoke angry players or fans and how they accept the decisions of the referee. Co-operation with the media will also be taken into account.'' - could it be our cooperation with the media that has let us down!?

"co-operation with the media" !?

**** them! Media spend more time slagging the game & players down than it does genuniely trying to help clubs and report FACTS to fans instead of made up rumours.

"co-operation with the media" !?

f**k them! Media spend more time slagging the game & players down than it does genuniely trying to help clubs and report FACTS to fans instead of made up rumours.

But you see CBK you have to panda to them or elsewise they will not fund the Premier League's sustainable financial growth and that would be deeply upsetting and football in this country would cease to exist...

Our number of fouls have increased as it is part of our play to stop opportunities for the opposition...usually in midfield before the danger can properly develop. I am surprised that we are not higher though...we are generally well behaved with the one exception with Osvaldo. We surely are one of the best teams for positivity in play. It's a mystery.

I seem to remember that last season under Pochettino we had one of the highest numbers of fouls, but one of the lowest numbers of cards and, yes this is because the pressing game leads to fouls in midfield. I am not bothered about the table and don't want the prize on offer. Bovvered?

I think it is most amazing that Chelsea do so well, especially with Mourinho's statements and it is ironic that Man U have dropped down the table since Alex Fergusson left... Obviously it is quite subjective and I can see why we might do worse this season than previously but it seems odd that the bottom three teams in the fair play are the ones with the least bookings!

I think "idiotic" would be a better word than "ironic". Ferguson's behaviour was scandalous on occasions but obviously everyone was too scared to say so! Maybe "ironic" was the right choice after all!

What is odd though, and obviously I'm be totally objective here:smile:, is that it generally appears to me that we are too 'nice' compared to other teams. There is no doubt that the bullying tactics employed by Man Utd over the years won them free kicks they didn't deserve, and sometimes I think we ought to be more in the face of referees simply because our opposition are. The very fact that Clatternburg was surprised by Lallana's comments only goes to show that referees do not expect it from us.

That said, I am glad we aren't. I hate all that moaning, rolling in agony, diving etc, etc. As such, I am actually disappointed that we are not higher up this table however meaningless it is.
