Jamie O'Hara has signed for Wolves today for a undisclosed fee, thought to be around £5m.
A decent player, but he's demanding first team football and he's not good enough to be a regular at WHL in my opinion, frankly.

He'll do a good job for them though and it's nice to see us getting some business done early, for once.
 
Never forgave him for comments pre Semi final against Portsmouth. Admittedly was in a tricky position but should have said nothing.
 
The only bit of ITK I have on this is that Jamie has an underlying back problem which is likely to cut short his career, so you can't blame him for wanting to move now and get as much footie in before he's forced to retire.

With Danielle up the spout again he has to think of the future a bit, although moving a WAG like her closer to old Ryan might not be the best of ideas ;)
 
Good player, glad to see us finally sell someone though.

As soon as we get rid of a couple more we can get our own bidding underway.
 
A great signing for us, unfortunately for him your squad is in pretty decent shape at the moment so i can see why he would want to get out and start playing.

5 Million is a reasonable figure as well in today's climate, gives you a few more quid to chuck at your team and help keep the vultures off.
 
I think £5m is going to look like an absolute bargain. I think O Hara's been very unlucky at Spurs. Basically never had a bad game for us that I can recall and yet always found other mediocre players ahead of him. I'd have had him on the bench ahead of the likes of Tainio, Zokora, Palacios, Jenas any day.

I didn't like the fact he was going out on loan in January (at a time when people were saying we needed another defensive midfielder/cover on the left) and I reckon he could've have turned some of those draws into wins.

Maybe not a great player. But a great player to have. I honestly wouldn't be at all worried to see him start for England (bearing in mind the Milners, Parkers, Barrys of this world).

Oh - and I couldn't give a monkeys about his comments regarding the FA Cup. In fact I think that showed something very admirable about the boy - he wants to play and wants to win and wants cup finals where and when he can get them. It's not like he's gonna get those chances very often in his career. And quite honestly he didn't really have much to be thankful to Spurs for at that time.

Oh well - hope we have a sell-on clause...
 
He'll be like Etherington: one of those players who is real quality for a mid-table side and who always shows the odd moment of brilliance against the top sides to earn his team a surprise draw or win.
 
Between his comments and playing the final knowing full well he could injure his back even more that he could be out for a season, I'm glad he's gone. We pay his wages and that's how he repays us!
