Every year the FA do a reconciliation of who walks through the gate with which ticket and who it was origninally allocated to, for the likes of KP to get hold of so many tickets they must get them through foul means, or, from fortunate people who qualify for tickets who look to cash in and sell to agencies believing they can't be traced back.
The FA employ people to monitor where the tickets go FFS !

Someone at the FA has a ****ing great big brush and a ****ing great big carpet to match....
Even Arsenal do **** all about touting. I was talking to two Dutch lads a couple of years ago who'd paid €150 each for a ticket from a tout website.Their tickets were actually red membership cards. They showed us a letter they were given with the cards telling them to leave the cards at the hotel were they were stopping's reception desk when they left. They were horrified when they found out the true cost of the tickets.

From what I hear Arsenal do more than most, infact I heard a number of horror stories where season tickets holders 'sold' their ticket for 1 game at face value, met up with the buyers around the ground and plain clothes investigators confisgated the tickets and gave the owners a ban on renewing their ticket and entering the ground !
This isn't a one-off either...

Arsenal seem to want to do something about genuine fans selling to other fans at face value but do ****all about touts who have memberships. If you are on Twitter or Facebook you will see there are groups such as ArsenalTickets who help fans with spare tickets sell tickets to ticket less fans at face value. It is rumoured that the club have posed as ticketless fans and have bought tickets through this service and have then banned the fans selling tickets for touting

Yeah, unbelievable they attack proper fans looking to recover face value yet ignore the agencies/touts who sell every game at inflated prices and of course their season ticket gives them priority for cup tickets which, again, they use to sell at ridiculous prices

In one of the meetings that Ivan Gazidis has with the various fans groups it was said that on average 400 club level members go to one game or less a season
The club know who's buying tickets,If I go to my membership page on Arsenal.com I can see every home ticket I've bought for the last three seasons. It would be easy for the club to buy tickets from a tout website and see the member who originally bought the ticket

Nothing wrong with members selling their tickets face value to fans that cannot afford season tickets. In fact we should make it easier for people to get access to these tickets. There are numerous times when I'd love a ticket but can't get one. It will also be better for the club to have a full and healthy fan base singing from the stands. More should be done.

Couldn't agree more, but the club have targeted these fans and confisgated season tickets from fans who are unable to attend a game but who have been seen taking cash in exchange for ticket(s).
Disgraceful really....

I agree with you but it is illegal to resell tickets

My supporters club buy my tickets and even though the tickets are bought on my membership we are given paper tickets for games.I have also signed a form allowing the supporters club to buy tickets on my membership and then sell the ticket to another member of the supporters club if i'm not going to the game.Technically this is touting and as such is illegal but Arsenal are quite happy with this arrangement. We are told to carry our supporters club membership cards to games just in case a steward questions how and where the tickets where obtained

When I've been the gates all seem to be completely unmanned with those green light things, do they ever check them?

Only got a single ticket?

I'm still willing to pay face value for any spare ticket anyone has for the game. Not bothered how good or poor the seat is!

Yes siry, just one, for me, :D. I picked my seat to be lower tier, behind the goal. But nothing is set in stone yet, I might still not be able to go depending on work, but my brother will just go instead.

Well should circumstance end with neither of you able to attend, send me a message!
