  3. Sturridge wants to win the title for Stevie G.

He's been at 'Pool for 5 minutes, and already he's crying emotional tears like he's a born Mouser! Unbelievable.

Ermmm no you don't have any player that would be fit to lace Hendersons boots. All them rubbish players you bought might be good on fifa but they are all garbage in the real world.

Well he won't be needing his boots for a while, will he. Have they located what passes for his brain yet, by the way? He obviously left it around somewhere up there...

No, you're right we don't have, and don't need, anybody quite so stupid...

totsfan. That's such an original name for a spurs fan on a football forum. It must have taken all the brainpower you have to come up with that one.

We don't allow abuse or insults on the Spurs board, as it inevitably becomes boring for everyone that's not involved and someone gets pissed off with it.

This name calling **** is just childish. Both of your names are awful <cool>.

On topic, Henderson hasn't been Liverpool's best midfielder this season but he's come an awful long way since he joined. You could argue that today he's playing the best football of his career so far and has been a key part of why Liverpool are doing so well this season. To say he's not a good player is not only false, it's laughable.

I didn't say that he wasn't a good player or that he wasn't key to Liverpool's performances.
He's good at what he does and your midfield benefits from him in the same way that Man Utd's used to benefit from Fletcher before his injury.
He's very replaceable though, whereas players like Suarez or Gerrard aren't.
He does a very necessary job in the system that you use, but you could easily pick up another player that could do it just as well for the fee that you spent on him.

Sorry tots but i'm with the mousers re. Henderson.
He WAS a laughing stock due to his price and relative performances before this season. This season he's been good or very good. He dicked all over our highly regarded (as individuals) and almost as expensive midfield when we played them. He doesn't do the spectacular (that often) but then neither did Modric which is why a lot of rival fans questioned his (Modric's) price tag when he was sold, which has now been fully justified in both the Real team and the loss to ours.

I hope he lines up alongside Gerrard for England, with Sturridge and Sterling too.

Have you been drinking, Spurm? Comparing Henderson to Modric? Wash your mouth out!

England won't pick lots of players from the same side, anyway. That would make far too much sense.
Whilst I hate to mention the filth without good reason, they had the most effective defence in the country under George Graham and they were all English.
Did the national side pick them all? Of course not. Why pick a unit that works well together when you can pick a bunch of random players that have no time to build up a rapport?
