What a day. My dad pulled out at the last minute due to not feeling up to it, so my missus went with me. She's never EVER been to a live game. 10 mins to go she says to me "why are people leaving?" I laughed and said "No idea, I never leave early". Then the Blades scored, so I says "See, thats why" then we scored and she said "They've missed some great football in the last 10 mins..." I hugged her. Even she gets it. Her summary of it all was it was brilliant, and she understands now, and it was brilliant seeing so many people so together as one. Brought a tear to my eye that. She even joined in some singing! My skin is burning due to sitting in 107 for the entire game which was in constant sunshine until the 90th minute... Just spoke to my dad for 15 mins, he's made up and about to watch it on ITV4. So many emotions today, a real proper old style FA Cup game that. Just ****ing brilliant. Bring on the Arse!
Just got back, live in Berkshire. Great day my father died on this day 10 years ago, he would be loving this. Thank you Steve Bruce, Thank you Hull City Squad, and Thank you Allams (slightly begrudgingly).
Don't be a ****. We always support the team, CTWD are generally the ones making the noise while people like you are at home. Hence there's never any Hull Tigers songs sung. Their first goal ruined what could have been a brilliant 19:04, the selfish sods. Good job we're going back in a month and can have another go at it. Anyway, good stuff Happy Have we got a new fan?
Weirdly yes. Seriously shes always been HUGELY anti football, didn't understand the passion, any of it. I was worried because we were in the frigging sun the entire game she might get mardy, but she was getting right into it and didn't mention it. She really enjoyed it and wants to start going more often! She'd be a plastic though, cos she's from Peterboro... Even at the end, after the players had been over, and Brucie came over and got his standing ovation, I was like "right, lets go", she said "what? won't we miss stuff?". Technically she's our lucky mascot too now, just need to make sure we get tickets for the final! I thought the singing and chants today was top notch, even when we went down, I'm not normally one for singing but I did today. The City Til I die took 3 goes to get going, but it felt like a club song not a campaign one again, and the "We say no" one just died. It didn't matter. Really did feel like an as one Tiger Nation today. Had a few nice chats with Blades fans on the way back to the train too. Just a top top day, much better than yesterdays Semi that is for sure.
Happy Tiger: why is your father made up? a). you've imagined him for years. b). he loves Loreal on his skin.
I started the day with a sore throat. Now I can barely speak. Absolutely brilliant day. Didn't envy you all that sunshine HT. That looked warm. What a day. Still buzzin'
to be honest I'm getting a bit Mussy ish. Long drive over priced ****ing beer and food, beer like piss, made to sit down. I'll be going to the final mind.
Made to sit down? Where were you? No one seemed to make any Blunts sit down and even in the Club Wembley seats fans of bothnclubs were standing. Although watching on TV a lot more of our fans seemed to be seated than theirs.
Dont know if you saw it but flashing round the stadium was. "Antisocial behaviour text 874774 with your block row seat etc and say what it is. Stewards came over and asked us to sit down. Block 502. 50 quid for that!! Why was that middle tier 3/4's empty all the way round?? Anyone know?
It always is. Those are the club Wembley seats. Only the bigger teams seem to generate interest on them getting filled
Why don't you just **** off, you moron. Edit: Don't know why it posted twice, but it adds to the sincerity, in a strange way.
Just back what a great day, never thought I would see us in the final. Well done Brucy for changing it at half time, what a difference. What a goal by Huddlestone, showed what he can do if he gets forward. UTT.
