Thought it was in the bag? <rofl>

Oh well, Derek 'Guardiola' McInnes has masterminded a League Cup win, you've already had your bus parade celebrations as if it was the Champions League.

The 'sleeping giant' has dosed back off already.

The Dons are back, be afraid <magic>

No complaints from this Dandie, Aberdeen dominated for an Hour but once St Johnstone scored they were the better team & fully deserved their win. No shame in losing to a decent SPFL team, St Johnstone have reached the league cup semis, Scottish cup final & a comfotable top six finish.

At the begining of the season i would have bit yer right hand off for a league cup win, Scottish cup semi & second in the league.

Once again we done the hard part knocking out Celtic then miss out on a final -- but hay-ho onwards & upwards & best of luck to St Johnstone in the final.

Wumming aside jonny, I wanted the dons to make the final.

Aberdeen v Dundee Utd (new firm and all that) would have been a better spectacle, and both clubs would've taken 30k fans each to the final, making for a cracking atmosphere. With Saints making the final the split will be more akin to your league cup final against ICT. Around 40k arabs and 10k St J fans.

I probably won't even watch the final now, Dundee Utd v St Johnstone doesn't fill me with enthusiasm.

Correct Johnny. St Johnstone were deserved winners.
