I agree although I think the club really over hyped him too. I know we spent a lot of money on him but maybe deep down he could have done without the added pressure. Hindsight is a wonderful thing huh?

This whole entire seasons been a complete wreck, in the summer we sign a couple of players and there was loads of fans reckoning we were going to storm this league instead of paying attention to things like the run in of games, that's the problem with this club of our's there are way too many idealists who look at things with green and yellow glasses, these are the same nut cases who think that Malky is the next Mourinho.

A bit of luck here and there and it could all have been so different. We saw today, for instance, that Fulham really are not very good, but they have got lucky and they will probably survive. Even Cardiff stand a chance.

It's so depressing to see poorer teams survive while we will go down.

And carroll missed a shed load of opportunities when at Liverpool. In fact in terms of converted chances my guess is our strikers have done better

Carroll had hundreds of chances at Liverpool and a pretty half decent team around him. If I remember the statistic correctly it could of changed but out of all the clubs in the league we were one of the one's who spent the most time in the oppositions third, but we were 2nd from the bottom in regards to the amount of chances created.

Come on guys, we played so much better than we have in recent weeks & but for a keeper on top form we would have won that game.
We've now got to get behind the team at home and really get CR rocking, without those f**king stupid fan clappers for a change.
We're not done yet! If that's the best Fulham can play then they won't be getting to many more points this season.

Well, we're either going to get relegated or mess up someone's title/top 4 challenge. It's going to be interesting at least!

Agreedchippy we really took the game to them
Just couldn't convert chances and good keeping

Despite all the positivity on here about how we played, you have to go back to our home game against Man City on Feb 8th to find a game where we had fewer shots on target. Yup, today's football was so much better, so much more positive, and yet it produced fewer shots on target than the last two months of CH's 'negative' football.

Games such as Cardiff (home and away), West Ham and Man Utd at home - these are the games where we were **** out of luck, and it has probably cost us a PL place. The only game I can recall, where we got any luck, was West Brom away.

Luck plays a massive part, but we are exactly where we deserve to be based on performances so far in this abject season.

Good job Maccers made it a 7 year plan :emoticon-0103-cool:

good news! we're first on MotD tonight! Make the most of it, could be the only time for a looooooooooooooooong while... (at least until suarez gets 5 next week)

Having 11 men constantly behind the ball might have something to do with it, we used the space on the pitch so much better, even FM said we where the better team, its depressing to lose but lets be realistic Fulham have some hard games to, we only have to nick one win out of four and i think we have a bloody good chance. I aint giving up till its all over depressing or not..
