A bit of confidence back, still have a huge uphill battle on our hands I think..

I can see a goal-less draw at Sunderland

Can't see Norwich getting any more points so 4 from 4 could be enough.

    I GOT A PREDICTION RIGHT!
I GOT A FUAAAARKING PREDICTION RIGHT!!

    YOU DOUBTED ME!!

    YOU ALL DOUBTED ME!!

    I GOT ONE RIGHT!

I HOLD MY WOODEN SPOON AND LAUGH AT YOU ALL

    WE FINALLY WON A GAME!

PUT THE TICKER TAPE IN THE STREETS, PLAY THE MUSIC, I GOT A PREDICTION RIGHT!!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In all seriousness fellas, long way to go yet, but there are lots of teams around us playing top 4 teams.

I think Ole's tactics worked an absolute treat today, and Zaha looked a different player when he came on, what the hell is it with him?

My man of the match is Daehli. For 65 minutes, the kid did not lose the ball once. He finds space where no one else sees it, and plays the game like there is no rush, and there is no chance of him being tackled. I think he was genius today.

We have liabilities in defence, but the full backs put in some crucial tackles to make up for that.
Medel worked hard, and Campbell.. well... he tries I suppose, but what more can he do in a 9-0-1 formation?

Shout out to the travelling fans today.

    You were all f**king marvellous.
Did not stop singing from the beginning to the end, and less "negative" songs as well, which I think helped.
To the fans, You did us proud.

We may well be relegated, this may well be a falsity, but how nice it was to see a City team that looked like they wanted to win.

How nice it is, not to lose.

For my old man, who would have been celebrating his 60th birthday on Monday... Rest in peace you jammy bastard, happy birthday.

i'd be shocked if norwich lose all their remaining games, you can never write off a team in a relegation battle at home, yes it'll be very difficult for them away but we can't rely on them not getting any more points IMO…

stoke next week will be another nervy game, i think stoke going to play away from home without any pressure on them will be to their advantage, but at least this win keeps us in touch though its still an uphill task……..

    Haha, cheers Glam.

That's not one years worth of frustration at the team.

That's one years worth of WAITING TO GET A DAMN PREDICTION RIGHT!

As everyone has said, it would still be a miracle to survive, but a win today is a damn sight better than a loss!

Agreed, one of the most incredible atmospheres ive been involved in (did playing in blue help? Sorry I wont go there...)

I must say, as funny as it was, I did think the 'F*** Man Utd, it's Barnsley away' may have sent slightly the wrong message out to the players, but it was worth it for the laughs, and we more than made up for it in the second half when we were under the cosh for the last half hour.

Incredible performance by the team, frankly a performance I didnt believe they had in them. Good for them!

Given how we are doing at the moment I almost fancy our chances against sunderland and newcastle away more than stoke home...

Our objective at the moment would appear to be to better Fulham results wise - Sunderland are gone IMO (3 of their remaining games are at Old Trafford, Etihad and Stamford Bridge.) Norwich are similar. We need to get 5 points, and better Fulham to stay up.

My negativity up to now was based largely on the fact that I gave us approximately zero chance of winning this one. A galvinised performance next week and who knows! Still a massive ask but at least we are still in the fight...

If I'm allowed to give an opinion here without being abused by one of your mods.

I didn't see the game but reports I've read suggest that Cardiff were pretty bad today but Saints couldn't put the ball away and the stats I've seen seem to back that up so perhaps why there's still negativity I don't know. What I'm trying to say is that there's no vidence that Ole out thought or that you out played the opposition today whereas the likes of Pulis have done just that.

But nevertheless it's a great result fair play. Still think you'll be relegated but you deserve to have a shot at maintaining Prem status same as everyone else.

Very back handed compliment there Dragon! But don't think they will give a toss if they were 'bad' - all that counts at this stage is points and Cardiff earnt three of them today!

Don't think you will be abused for giving your opinion - have found the guys on this forum to be pretty fair minded and open to genuine posts from rivals! Have always been treated with respect over here, and have made some good friends - probably due in some part to the fact that I don't have any time for the petty tribal Swans/Bluebirds 'my dad is bigger than yours' bullshit!

I have the best interests of Welsh football at heart and believe that having two teams in the PL will have a beneficial 'knock on' effect to the national team.

So I couldn't give a feck if Cardiff were 'pretty bad' - they scored one more goal than Southampton managed to so they deserved to win the game - no points for style in football! ;)
