We pushed the self destruct button a long time ago, but not in the way you have though via Tan.

Timing not great I'll grant you but it was awful on Saturday and a hostile atmosphere. I think most Canaries would say we should have waited until the end of the season, but it was likely Hughton was taking us down in any case, so a gamble, which it is, has been taken. All we can do as fans is get behind the team for a last push and see what happens and rebuild in whatever league we are in.

If Norwich win against Fulham they will be safe, a new manager might get the team up for it but if they lose ?

its too late for them to be saved now by appointing a new manager, i very much doubt their chances of survival are increased just by getting a new manager in who has to work with the same players.

its the fear of slipping towards the relegation zone and not wanting to sit there doing nothing, it makes them feel in control of their situation, a bit like fulham sacking muelensteen. it takes nerve to stick with the current manager when most would twist and get a new man in, even if they arent better than the previous one....<ok>

    Agree 100%.

Get on the blower to Steve Clarke or Chris Hughton.

Also while he's at it, Tan had better start lining up the likes of Jordan Rhodes. City cannot go through another season without a proper goal scorer.

    Glad someone does Nin.

Blackburn would want quite a lot for Rhodes given how much they paid for him.

    How about Rossco?

Easily the biggest mistake of the past few seasons.

While he's at it he better think about some full backs who can defend, centre backs who can defend, and some central midfielders who can hold, pass and create.

If Turner, Taylor, Cowie, Fabio, McNaughton, Connelly, Hudson, & Gunnarrsson in particular are anywhere near the squad next season then mid table mediocrity is likely.

As for the likes of Kim, Eikrem, Beget, Lewis, Moore, Cala, KTC, Jones, & Whittingham well the juries out.

Campbell & Maynard & Mason will score a few goals but not enough individually to spearhead a promotion drive.

Caulker will sign for Spurs or Liverpool or someone, Medel hopefully will go back to Spain, Mutch, Daehli & Noone may well be snapped up, Bellamy will retire, which leaves Marshall.

let me remind you we won the league without a goalscorer. though campbell got 7 in 12 in the championship, its a lower standard and he'd score 20 goals easily, theres your man.

    Nin

What did Hudson do wrong last season? Okay a year older but has had a year to recover from a nasty injury and will be keen to show us he can play. Connolly wasn't too bad in the Championship either - he played for the Devpt. Squad last night, as did Eikrem, Berget and John, who beat Brighton 1 - 0.

We will also have a fair chunk of money from our Premier League experience - provided Mr Tan doesn't do a runner! <laugh>

    Now where's Danny Graham...... <laugh>

Malky in charge over there for the start of next season. Ole could be history over here by then if Tan is serious about getting back up here on the bounce.

I don't think Ole will cut it in probably the most competitive division of football in the world. Trying to do a Keegan/Newcastle will not get us back.

Agreed Campbell is a proven Championship striker, we've also signed the Spanish bloke on a free haven't we? Maynard will do a job at Championship level. We'll need a winger to replace Noone, that'll be the most expensive signing imo. The rest of the squad should be given a chance of competing at the top of the division. Might need a dynamic centre mid to replace Mutch.

If Kenwyn can be arsed he could be a very useful target man away from home in the Championship too.
