Hi bors, there is an ex-Norwich player with loads of experience in management with a top notch PL club, I refer to Mick Phelan. Suggest the board bring him in to assist Adams with the aim of deciding who to keep for next season.

A new brush sweeps clean. Will put the players on their mettle and make the perfect partnership for managing the team; experience allied with enthusiasm.
 
We should all wear V neck pullovers to our home games out of respect for one of the games true gentlemen.<ok>

Anyone see Lukaku run the length of the field to embrace his manager after scoring today? That's camaraderie for you, I've seen nothing like that here, sadly, so I won't being shedding any tears.

I have taken up the roll of spin Doctor Gandy , Mike knows his input has always had a monumental effect on our form so i am feeling very confident about all things Norwich this evening.

This report suggests there was unrest in the dressing room. It could be a load of rubbish but I thought I'd post it anyway:

The sacking of Chris Hughton as Norwich City manager may only have been confirmed on Sunday evening, but it was a certainty even before a miserable performance on Saturday hastened the club's hand. While the chanting for his dismissal at the final whistle demonstrated the home supporters had lost what little remained of their patience with his methods, the indication from the dressing room was that the players, too, would not be sorry to see him replaced.

One long-standing player, an important and respected figure within the club, has privately let it be known that what they perceived to be Hughton's constant criticism and emphasis on the negative meant the players were going into games more focused on not making mistakes than on creating opportunities.

I wouldn't spend too much time analysing coaching videos. This has everything to do with appeasing supporters and absolutely nothing to do with coaching. It's all about whether the roar of the supporters can raise the players to new heights. Hopefully that will be enough, because on any other basis it makes the Terry Connor appointment look very sensible.

The correct decision from the board. As much as I defended Hughton last season it had become painfully obvious that he needed to go. Anyone criticising the Club or the fans from outside should have a word with themselves. We've had the collective patience of saints with him and the dire football that's been served up this season. I have no idea whether Adams will keep us up, but at the very least we'll go down fighting with a Norwich man at the helm. Adams knows the fans, having spent 10 years listening to them on CC and knows what the fans want from their team. Nice man that Hughton was, he had the pulse of a snail. Adams has passion in abundance, lets hope it's enough!

If he had lost the dressing room it is the right decision. If he lost it a while ago it should not of been left until now.

I think it was most likely the reason for him finally getting sacked - senior players must have lost faith otherwise it makes no sense.
 
Oh and I haven't had the chance to read all this thread, but even if it's been said before:

Lineker, Barton and all the other morons who think they are footballing experts have confirmed they are grade A tossers with little or no understanding of clubs like Norwich. They should stick to discussing what they know. Which would make for a substantially quieter MOTD.
