Bloody brilliant news i have been sulking since yesterday and dreading the rest of the season, i hope it will be a similar reaction to the Spurs Sherwood scenario they couldn`t score for toffee then he brought Adibayor back in and they started firing again. Wolfswinkel will almost certainly pair Hooper up front and score the winner next week.
Good luck Mr Hooton, thanks for keeping us in the Pl last season, I hope he goes on to succeed because I think he has it in him, but the partnership between him and Norwich never worked, he didn't fit the remit
May also raise some of the players who weren't in Hughton's plans. Fox, Garrido, Becchio, R Bennett, Pilkington have all had limited chances under Hughton, Howson's not been able to play in his 'proper' position, etc. Whether any of them would force themselves into Adams' plans for Saturday or not I don't know, but having more competition in the squad can't be a bad thing.
Someone has to take the brunt of this appalling management if we get relegated, and for the record ive been an 'outer' for months but not 5 games before the end of the season! Sorry feeling a little miffed after yesterdays result and now this... all strikes at desperation if you ask me not the way to run PL club, i only just hope we get at least that one win..
Agreed. If josh murphy wasn't at Southend I wouldn't be suprised to see him on the bench. Hope to see turner and yobo as CBs this weekend. A risk as they haven't bee paired, but our best two this season
We can`t score and those whacky substitutions on Saturday were the final straw, yes he`s a lovely man , a lovely man with a big house and fat bank account partly earned from doing a terrible job. Good luck in your next job Mr Houwghton
I think we were dead men walking, and nailed on to get no more points before the end of the season, it's clearly come too late, but I'm still fully behind the decision, it couldn't get worse. As has been stated at least the fans will be lifted and back on side. Predictably I have already had texts from fans of other clubs stating how crazy we are and how he would of kept us up. They haven't seen us enough otherwise they would understand just why we have taken such a desperate roll of the dice! Hootun out at long last! OTBC Let's go get Fulham! Bah!
Possibly, but at least it gives the players hope. That could bring some extra zip into training, and perhaps someone can prove to Neyul that they deserve another chance. I'd welcome Pilks back into the starting XI. He's good at supporting a striker, and not bad from a dead ball, so we could give Snodgrass a rest/drop him. I'd like to see: Ruddy Martin-Yobo-Turner-Olsson Redmond-Tettey-Howson-Pilkington Hoolahan RvW
I'm sure some people have seen this in the past, if you head to about 1:50 there's a few minutes of Adams discussing tactics its hard to judge from such a short chat but it seems like he is an intelligent coach. Hopefully when we turn out against Fulham we look positive and close down like he's discussing in this clip.
I half agree with you, personally I would've changed it in December, but I think if we start looking for heads to roll from the board we'll be in real danger of throwing the baby out with the bath water. Hughton has obviously been teetering on the brink for a while & was almost certainly going to be going in the summer no matter what. But if we'd picked up the win yesterday then I think the boards approach would've been vindicated. It's probably fair to say that, as bad as some of our performances have been, I don't think too many would've seen yesterdays 'performance' coming. In light of that non-show, I don't think there was much of an option with CH, even if it seems desperate.
This is siege mentality personified Adams has 5 cup finals against some of the best sides in the World <and Fulham>to cut his managerial teeth against, we dreamed of playing the likes of Arsenal Liverpool Man U & Chelsea in Lg1 now we are doing it knowing that 2 wins from 5 will probably see us safe maybe not even that. I am excited to be a Norwich fan again BRING IT ON ...... The King is dead long live the King. please log in to view this image
Panic sacking! TBH this is more bizarre than the shenanigans at Fulham this season! Taking a risk on an complete unknown may or may not work in the lower leagues, but in the Premiership with 5 games to go it is tantamount to suicide. This could finally be a gamble too far by McNally!
Mike you fecking beauty i have been praying for you to pop up with one of your FACTs ........ I love you Mike. Would anyone mind if i do the match day thread for Fulham please?
