I wonder if Martinez will be sending a few of his notes to his old club Wigan for their semi-final against the Goons?
I can only imagine the reaction of the fans if they were to lose that game.

It's hard to be particularly confident going into that game, our lack of pace in all areas is shocking

I cannot believe that we lose twice to Arsenal, this season.

They are truly dreadful, but how bad must we be?

"They are truly dreadful, but how bad must we be?"

Worse.
You only have to look at the two PL NLDs this season to know how
much better the current top 3 have been than the Goons.

Yet another penalty to 'Pool.

Honestly, if one were to take away all the penalties that have been awarded to 'Pool this season, no way would they even get a sniff of top 4.

Well then! Guy Demel stabs the ball into the net after a corner, but the linesman is flagging. Is that a goal?

There is a lengthy conversation between Stuart Burt and Anthony Taylor and the referee eventually gives the goal. On second viewing, Andy Carroll had a hand firmly in Simon Mignolet's face! Surely a foul?

Queue moaning scousers if they don't win the game.

Bill in Hereford: Disgusting by Carroll, no attempt for the ball and nearly a full on punch in the face. Disgusting.

Steve: Shocking decision ref, absolutely shocking.

Adam: Classic big Sam team goal. He dreams about ones like that.

Jack, fuming Liverpool fan: If that ruins our title bid then it's a complete injustice. What's the point of a linesman if the referee doesn't listen to him?
.

<wah><wah>...

Look, you all don't understand. The officials are clearly out to get the side that's had the most penalties in the Premier League era and also in this season.

<doh>

What title bid? You're going to finish 3rd, at best!

"Huge huge call from the ref Taylor, previously this season he has had bad decisions in Arsenal/Villa, the Eto'o goal v Cardiff and awarded pen for Sterling at Stoke!"

Further proof decisions even themselves out and Liverpool weren't moaning when Sterling got that dodgy penalty.

Any ref who takes a 'Pool game should immediately be charged with match-fixing.

This result is laughable!

I'm absolutely disgusted by 'Pool's win, today. Totally undeserved. A draw would have been the fair result. Yet again, poor refereeing decisions make 'Pool look far better than they are.

No wonder us neutrals are utterly sick of 'Pool and the Mouser-dominated media.
