I know we were up against it but gee, wilko is absolutely ****e, always has been always will, thanks but bye bye wilko
Well Ricc that is a bit harsh. Watching the the game he came on for Cameron who I thought must be ill.
Great servant to the club, but...he is not and never has been a prem player, in my opinion. i wonder how many penalties he has been responsible for and free kicks in scoring positions? 100% er...but a complete liability.
Sorry mate but do not rate him, I love his attitude but speed, skill and positioning is very poor. As soon as he came on I knew he would get destroyed. As a team we never got near them today and sometimes uou have to admit that they were just too good. Onwards and upwards and lets hope cameron is fit for the next game
Fully agree Nick, shows we need better cover in this position in future, hopefully we will refresh the team this summer, there are a few that should be playing elsewhere.
I do not disagree that Wilko is a liability. I think that Hughes saw that very early on and is one of the reasons he has featured seldomly. As Nick has said a great servant to the club. I also understand that he has been offered a further 12 months on his contract simply because of his enthusiasm and motivation around the dressing room.
Hmmm, the beauty of this season is that we have a choice. I suppose (and as a complete neutral) Liverpool have played some fantastic attacking football, especially from the evil genius Saurez!! I mentioned on another thread, I wonder how much Walter's 90th minute penalty miss on the opening day of the season will help Liverpool at the death??
I think it's agreed, we all love Wilko, but he's just not good enough. If Liverpool win the league, I'll be happy to have given the, those extra 2 points, though it would be nice if we had equalised and got a point closer to Newcaslte (even better if we hadn't been battered by the Geordies!!) For me it's going to be Sunderland, Cardiff and Norwich going down. I'd like to see Fulham go rather than Sunderland, but even with games in hand, they don't look like winning many at all. Can't understand Norwich sacking Hughton, yes they were terrible, but are they gonna be any better with 5 matches left and their youth coach in charge?
