Wasn't he up against Harte today, who to be fair is still a decent fullback despite his age, isn't he 40 or so?

I don't think Hoilett had the intelligence to try and beat him for pace once.

I noticed that at the start of the game Tramore and thought "great, his pace should skin Harte alive". Silly me. I should have known Toilett doesn't go outside, nor cross, nor anything really.

If there's no weird clause waiting to be activated, I'd bring W-Phillips back in. He's no worse going forward but might give a bit more defensively.

37 in August. Surely he could have beaten him occasionally?

I'd guess that it is a confidence issue, but what isn't so obvious on a stream is whether there was ever anyone in the box. Against Blackpool there was as Zamora was playing, but today I don't know if Maiga was.

He still wouldn't do it when Austin was sitting in the box for a whole half hour Roller. One single cross went in to him the whole time he was on.

According to that list SWP still has one year on his contract. Was certain his was up and one of the reasons he isn't playing anymore was because more appearences would trigger an extension.

Thinking about it I seem to remember him signing for four years and that would make that list correct.

More bad news. When it rains...

I see Hoilett, many people's favourite whipping boy is getting some stick again tonight. He was MOTM against Blackpool for me, and only played half the game. Look at the terrible defending and just how completely **** Dunne is, before always blaming a player who at least tries to make forward runs and make things happen.
    Maiga is ****.
    Zamora is ****.
Dunne is becoming worse than ****.

    Hoilett is not ****.

There weren't many crosses but there was something that Austin headed wide. After the first 15 minutes when we were decent, I thought we were poor, and very very open at the back. Having played Henry as a DCM at home to weak Blackpool with 3CB's and 2 backs, amazingly away against a free scoring in form team today Arry left the back 4 very exposed. Neither Carroll or Jenas sat back in front of them, leaving acres of room for Bournemouth to launch into, and leaving Dunne who seems to get slower every game, and a possibly half concussed Clint in many desparate situations. The backs did OK, especially Simpson but it was never going to be enough. 2 calamitous games in a row now from Arry IMO, and all the more reason he should have gone weeks ago.

    Spot on Oslo.
Harry is clueless. My lad pointed out straight away that we had a very open central midfield today........as you say, against a free-scoring, in-form side at their place!! Henry should sit in there every game.
Dunne is becoming a complete liability and we've just given him another year!! <steam>

In that case would it be fair to say that Hoilett is consistently underperforming against his potential, Col? Only my opinion, but he's never looked to me like the player that illuminated the Premier League with Blackburn since donning the hooped shirt. In my ignorance, I thought he'd be pulling trees out in this division.

def better then the first two, hard to compare him with dunne after all wouldn't fancy seeing him at centre half. Never actually stated he was **** personally, just frustrating. Saw an awful lot of the ball today but failed to get any really decent crosses over bar one or two. He looks like he could breeze past defenders but often doesn't. He can definitely run and often has two players on him so is feared by other teams. I cannot fault his effort but wonder how much further he will develop without the ability to really 'look up' and pick someone out.

He's ocassionally not **** that makes it all the more frustrating when, as is normally the case, he is very, very ****.

Hoilett is frustrating but it only takes one good thing for a goal. At least he tries and is brave enough to do things. The reason why we never did things when he was out is that no one would take responsibility which is why we never got anywhere with him out.

Henry should never play but we play with 4 defensive players away to an in form side but six defensive players at home to a side that lost 11 of the last 12 away games. I could understand the reasoning for henry playing today.
Redknapp really hasn't got a clue.he's just doing stuff hoping he comes up lucky.

rangercol, we don't often share the same opinion, but when it comes to David Hoilett, I have to agree with your sentiments here. It's all too easy to find fault. Granted, he's not as effective as he could be, but he's far from the poor player that some supporters would have one believe.

What's more I said all that without mentioning Joey Barton once.... Doh! <doh> There I go again.... <laugh>

It's Will Keane, it is argued that he shares a striking resemblance to the footballing lad from the film 'Gregory's Girl.'

The same. I had to go out on a few missions so thankfully missed it and can't really comment. Which is weird really, as I never missed a game when we were in the dark days of being poor and ****. Now I can hardly muster enough 'I don't give a f**k's for this lot.

Supporting QPR is like being in The Shawshank Redemption. Except there's more tunneling through **** and no ****ing redemption*.
