As others have said though, sorting travel now might be a pain. You can certainly discount train. And the club said all along they didnt expect any to make it to general sale, hence why we're a week behind the Blunts with this.

Maybe we're just not as big as we thought.

We've got 11 seats left on our coach leaving skirlaugh at 08:00 and picking ip in willerby if anyone needs a seat

I don't think people will find issue travelling down, but like Erik said leaving tickets until 5 days before to put them on general sale is ridiculous.

It could work one way or the other for the club. Leaving it that late a mad rush happens for tickets and we sell them or alternatively people might now think it's too late and if the club don't do a push people could assume they don't have a chance of a ticket

I ordered 2 tickets in the £40 price-band around 5.30p.m. on the first day and received an acknowledgment a few days later.I picked the tickets up today, we are on coach 45 so hopefully they will reach somewhere near the 100 coach mark.

We will get about 22k tops if we reach the final.

Some people are assuming they will get one for the final when they have little or no chance.
Yeh some people are deluded.
The guy who lives opposite me has booked his hotels for 6 of them for Cup final day.
He never goes to City but thinks cos he'll have a group booking for the 6 of them he'll be guaranteed.
He looked at me strange when I told him otherwise

That's quite laughable.

He never goes to City and he thinks he'll get a 6 tickets for the final ?

Is there a particular reason he doesn't get chance? Not including myself because I do long weekends back in Hull, but if it's a case of the long journey each way on his own, I know there's at least 2 season ticket holders that travel separately through Edinburgh station on the train on matchdays because I've in the past been on there with them.

Unfortunately he just doesn't have the money to do it anymore. Have you seen the price of train tickets. He can't get the Monday off work for the Wembley game s although he is travelling down on Tigertravel he is flying back to Edinburgh which is probably cheaper than the train.

On balance, todays game was probably more important for some people. Plus, I also bet people are gambling on us beating the blunts and thus we'll be back there again, for the final. The cost of that one day out is massive, and it's not unreasonable to suspect that a large chunk of people wouldn't be able to afford to go twice to wembley, whereas I bet a large chunk of blunts fans know the chances are fairly slim of them being at the final. Sure, it could happen, but on balance, thats why I think the ticket sales are the way they are.

Wow for the first time I agree with something you have said.

Someone said to me today that they would rather go to watch city in a semi then go to the final and watch them get hammered by Arsenal. As I cannot get to the semi I am really hoping we get to the final and yes I know we could get hammered but for me it would be great for us to get to a major final at Wembley. I have a good feeling about this year.

Whats the deal with the cup final then?

we get less tickets, and if youre not going to the semi, you wont be going to the final?

I'd hope so.

They wouldn't deserve a place at the final if they're deluded to think they can skip the semi-final just so they can attend the final.

I know the club won't do it but they should offer the first tickets to Season ticket holders and those at the Semi.

Then to those who went to two or more, then general sale.

In a perfect world ofcourse, no doubt they'll think of a completely stupid system

First choice should go to Season ticket holders at Wembley, followed by Season ticket holders who attended other cup games in my eyes.
