Near enough fair but one pass should mean one ticket. General sale for a limited period for those with a history with the ticket office and then general sale and free for all who want to attend. We can criticise the ticket office but I have always received a good service from them. The sale of Wembley tickets was never going to please everyone.
I'm not sure how they work coaches out but haven't they ordered 100? I'm on coach 11, so if they're going coach by coach then surely not many have chose tiger travel?
Probably the case. Anybody know if ticket office is open tomorrow (before the general sale on Monday ?)
It turns out ticket sales are ****e, we're a way off selling twenty five thousand so far, we should be announcing 'any bastard who wants a ticket, get to the KC, no restrictions'.
Seems to be a lot of it's too expensive/watch in pub excuses. It's the ****ing FA CUP SEMI. Good chance, we'll never be there again. Think on. I know well that times are tight, but it's doable for well under £100. Beg, steal or borrow; or regret it, even if we lose.
On balance, todays game was probably more important for some people. Plus, I also bet people are gambling on us beating the blunts and thus we'll be back there again, for the final. The cost of that one day out is massive, and it's not unreasonable to suspect that a large chunk of people wouldn't be able to afford to go twice to wembley, whereas I bet a large chunk of blunts fans know the chances are fairly slim of them being at the final. Sure, it could happen, but on balance, thats why I think the ticket sales are the way they are.
We will get about 22k tops if we reach the final. Some people are assuming they will get one for the final when they have little or no chance.
Anyone choosing to do that is frankly an idiot. I appreciate money is tight so some cant afford both but i can also categorically say, through normal ticketing measures that if you don't go to the semi you won't get a ticket to the final.
Come all those thinking about it, don't save it for the final - we need all the support to make sure we get there and tickets will be harder to get (10,000 fewer available) so you might not get a final ticket anyway. 1930 was the last time, so no one on here will have been to a Hull City FA Cup semi final before?
Just checked my seat out on the Wembley website. It's ****ing horrible. Not what I applied for at all.
Far too much panic on here, we should comfortably shift 7000 next week, it was always going to take the day trippers to sell our allocation (as it did in 2008 when we all saw faces who hadn't been to a city game that entire season) I predict we'll see queues snaking round the block on Monday morning when the restrictions are finally lifted.
As others have said though, sorting travel now might be a pain. You can certainly discount train. And the club said all along they didnt expect any to make it to general sale, hence why we're a week behind the Blunts with this. Maybe we're just not as big as we thought.
As with most things this season, the club have completely ****ed things up. Fancy being stupid enough to a) think nearly 15,000 fans are all going to buy two tickets each, and b) leaving it until five days before the game to put tickets on general sale. Laughable. Absolutely laughable.
Thanks for your help OLM and DMD. I have limited internet access in Finland right now, I was hoping to book a two to three tickets online but the process is ridiculous. I get back to Oxford on Sunday night so will give it a go then. I am sure there's quite a few people that are a fair way from the KC and don't have the facilities to print and scan never mind look at the uninformative tiger site.
