Born in yorkshire and proud to say it.Funny thing leeds and city have in common is leeds lie that they represent yorkshire and city lie their all from manchester. When I know that outside the grass verges of leeds your club are hated in yorkshire and that here in manchester theres loads of reds and a few loud divs like paul bluefeet.Oh and finally donald,Daffy is funnier than you and has a better edge to his cartoons.THA THA THA THATS ALL FOLKS!
You're a sellout to the Lancastrians, worse than that to the Mancs. No proud Yorkshireman would dare identify with 'them from over t'ills'. It's just wrong. Leeds are hated everywhere by non-Leeds fans. We're by far the biggest club in Yorkshire though, I doubt any other Yorkshire team has fans in every town in the county in the way Leeds do. So yes, of course we represent the White Rose county. I don't care for Man City anyway, they're Mancs so they're obviously going to be liars.
^^^ This ^^^ You're a dick, NT. 1) Personally, I don't mind Leeds. 2) Show some ****ing respect towards the giants of HCAFC you prick.
Thats remarkable arrogance saying that your the biggest club so represent our whole county. What would donnie.barnsley, bradford etc have to say about that?MUFC have fans all over but we arent lancashire and wouldnt claim to be.Anyway the thread was about who you supported and why and Ive let my opinions turn into which team I dislike the most and why.Funny how easy it is to go off on one when your on not606?
They'd disagree. It would be irrelevant. It's similar to how Man U represent Lancashire because they're the biggest club there. Is that not true? That's the point of the whole Leeds-Man U dingdong, Yorkshire's reps vs Lancashire's reps. Indeed. Fair dos. Though I guess the vast majority of Donny, Bradford, Barnsley, Huddersfield and Hull fans are pretty hostile, as proven by that poll I did on your board a month or so back where I asked who your biggest rivals were and it was something like 70-80% Leeds. You voted for Scunny though in fairness IIRC! In fairness, they probably are a close second these days after the enjoyable demise of the city of Sheffield.
MUFC dont need to say they represent ANYONE or ANYWHERE because they are MUFC.Simple as that.As the saying goes its not where ya from its where ya at and when it comes to the mighty red devils thats where Im at bubla!Yorkshire red just like lads from donnie, barnsley and loads of yorkshire towns.God bless all reds there and to hell with football YOKELISM!
Fair enough if you believe that, but then why say you're proud of coming from Yorkshire when that's also a form of "yokelism" which goes against the "where it's at" principle?
I certainly enjoy the banter with those Leeds fans living in Hull and Beverley, but there's no real feeling towards someone from Leeds or, say, Castleford who supports your club (or anywhere else in Yorkshire). Obviously there's been no real history between us, bar the games in the Second Division in the 80's. But then, if there was a large Accrington fanbase in my area, I'd have the same attitude towards them as I do LUFC. Make sense?
The yokelism relates to footballing matters only.Fools accuse all united supporters of being glory hunters and not from manchester so I illustrate why it doesnt matter.Whichever part of the planet Ive travelled to Ive worn my United shirt but it doesnt make me less of a yorkshireman or less of an englishman.Proud to be all three!
I follow. Accrington have a large fanbase everywhere though, not sure how you've missed it all these years to be honest.
I'm a protestant so I support Rangers. Tottie Dome is nearer me but that's just silly. I'm not at all religious but my family tree are all prods
I'm just messing pal. I wanted to look cool infront of Jen so she gets her rat out for me. Toby accused thee of being me? He's easily confused. Some say he has a jar full of his own spunk.
