Tell that to Chelsea, lose 2 of the last 3. if Chelsea don't get back on track they may be out of it in 2 3 games. Same for Liverpool, only City have some wiggle room in this race.
Chelsea are only in the race because of Maureen and their lack of a decent striker is now hitting home It's still City's to lose. The pressure on your lot now becomes intense, up until this point you've just been enjoying the ride, now you're ahead and that brings it's own pressure, let's see how you cope with it
That depends on how it's handled. The pressure didn't look an issue today. You can say Spurs were awful but we never let them be anything else once they started that way. We seem to be underdogs for the chav and City visits to anfield too, suits us fine
There's a distinct difference between chasing without real expectation and leading down the home straight It remains to be seen how you cope with that
Liverpools temperament wasn't tested today, thanks to Spurs gifting them the perfect start, which settled the team and the fans down. I'm not gonna come out and say Liverpool will choke, but it's still a whole different ball game leading the pack in the home straight to what they've experienced so far. I just hope City can keep winning, to apply the pressure. I also don't think Chelsea are out of this, I can see them still being involved when they go to Anfield, which will be a huge test for Liverpool, as Mourinho and Chelsea have a knack of pulling out results in the big games
There's no great experience as a club sure... That is a worry, not just that City are much stronger. Among the players, off the top of my head Sturridge, Suarez, Toure, Johnson, Sakho have experience winning leagues?
They've answered pretty much every question asked of them so far so really and truly those of us whose worst nightmare is Liverpool winning the league are now left clutching at straws. I've got the hemlock on order.
One Game At A Time Today was a test given the others dropped points, many thought we might bottle it with Sunderland fueling suspicions of pressure and nerves. Every game we play from now till it's decided will be the biggest game of the season.
The deluded scousers will choke when they lead and expectations from their fans go over the roof. And the racist cannot score against the top teams like Chelsea and City. Most neutral fans must be dreading the lowlife scum winning that premiership title for the first time. We will never hear the end of it. One scummy scouser came on 606 tonight and said that Rodgers was just incredible. He was in his opinion between Shankly and Paisley in terms of leading a team and letting players play with freedom . No wonder the scousers are reputed to be the thickest people in football.
is your mum dating a scouser or something? You seem to have some issues Fistian. I see there is a Liverpool article with comments enabled on the beeb, I bet you've been all over it with your own brand of insanity
Hell's bells! Which one did he put ahead of Brenton and which one behind?! Some people need to learn that one good season does not a great manager make, but then I guess Liverpool fans will never learn that particular lesson...
The test for Rodgers will be if he maintains this once the full fixture list comes back next season. 40 games is half a season at the end of the day. Another 20+ fixtures and playing week in week out will put a lot of pressure on Liverpool. if he handles that then we might be looking at one hell of a manager.

The 6 in bold are the big prizes, some of the others were minor achievements or won on the back of another manager's team (Inter). Granted, it's still up to you to win the competitions... And he's not a one season wonder, I agree. His Valencia wins and the CL with Liverpool were really great results, but before the Chelsea role he was unemployed for many years. I think he's a decent manager but he was at his peak during his Valencia and Liverpool days imo.
Maybe you're right, his Napoli sit 3rd in the table at the min. They did beat leaders Juventus at the weekend though He always did a good job for us while working with bad bad bad owners
