So after a great win its the easy task of trying to get something from Man City on Saturday with a 12.45 kick off. City have been scoring goals for fun but we have shown this season that we can compete with anyone and I just have a feeling we might spring a real shock and grab the points.

Dont know the injury situation but i think I'd start with

Boruc

Chambers Fonte Lovren Shaw

Cork Morgan

Davis Adam Jrod

Rickie

Subs Gazza Clyne Hooveld Reed JWP Gaston Gallagher

COYR!

They certainly didn't batter us at St Marys. I would argue we were the better side.

This team constantly surprises me. As an older supporter I keep waiting for the 'real' Southampton to emerge, and yet time after time we play superb football, even if our results haven't always reflected the game.

I'm not saying that we'll win but I am a tad surprised to see everyone writing it off as a no-hoper.

Going to this game and looking forward to it. Despite City being such a good side i have never been so optimistic about Saints away from home as i have been this season, so if we play to our potential i can see us getting at least a draw next Sat. Saints will have to play really well for 90+ mins though.

I'm confident we can take something from the game. Our star player are in fine form and we have pretty much full squad to choose from. City are great, but they can be contained. Teams confront them mostly with their pants down, and we most certainly won't do that.

They haven't spanked us in any of the games since we've been promoted. In fact we've outplayed them in two of the games, and were very unlucky when we went there last time. Plus, they'll have loads of pressure on them. Plus plus, no Aguero (right?). Plus plus plus, we have nothing to lose!!

We'll probably lose, but the pressure is all on them so who knows

The top clubs have all lost to someone, so why not us? It is about time we managed to beat a top club...we are certainly good enough. However, I think the style we play seems to be easier for these clubs to cope with and I can't see Mauricio changing to a defensive formation any time soon.

Would love you to nick points here for obvious reasons. A lot of pressure on City they know if they drop points we are waiting for them.

we beat liverpool tbf

I see no reason to change the team significantly unless there are some injuries we don't know about...Snidders for JWP would be my only consideration

We do not change our tactics home or away, Man City or Fulham so lets go up there and take them on in our own style and see what happens as all the pressure is firmly on their shoulders at the moment.

We can take the points here if everyone pulls together
