All I'm saying is there is a lot going for Swansea. Not sure how do do all these little quotes things but when you say you only sold 1 1st team player (Delph) in the last 3 years... What about Beckford??? "Leeds has three universities, the main one of which is far above Swansea in every ranking going" NOT in civil engineering you don't... At the risk of getting back to football and its players though. Do you think they will care about Universities etc when making a decision about whether or not to stay or go??? I think not. Money talks and the fact is we are playing (at the moment) at a higher level than you, with a somewhat bigger budget. We play better football than you as was shown in the rather 1 sided game at the Liberty. Who knows, anything could happen.
Jesus, why are we arguing about poxy universities. Who give a Flying f**k. the fact is Swansea is interested in Gradel. If he fancies playing in the premier league, then he will consider moving to us. It's not about whose city is best, it's about football. Yes you may go up next year. Yes, we may come down next year. ( i hope not). But at the moment you cant offer him premier league football. so he now has a choice. Personally i think he would be a great addition to our side. If he comes great if he doesnt we already have better wingers and am sure we will find a quality alternative.
Fair one... Just ****ed off with people thinking the Swansea is a ****hole when they have no clue as to what's here
Left on a free, not sold. So? Most minor universities specialize in something. No, it's ludicrous that we're even discussing universities and countryside. Those were just two bizarre side-arguments that Swansea fans introduced. We were talking about the places Leeds and Swansea and in my opinion, Leeds is a firmly more popular place to live for pretty much any professional footballer. It's true. However in this case, Gradel has already said he's happy to sign a contract at Leeds and isn't bothered about moving away, so it's in our hands really, not Swansea's. Trundles left foot: you don't have better wingers than Gradel. He scores as many as Sinclair, creates more and works harder and works as hard as Dyer and scores way, way more. Jager: I wasn't saying you should discriminate against anyone... just if Wales had to be affiliated with one of them, which would you prefer?
Gradel scored 18 goals last season, Sinclair scored 27. And yes he scores more than Dyer - heck even Gower matched him last season - but the fact remains that Dyer was our player of the season. So do we drop the 2nd best player in the Championship or someone who played the biggest role (in the fans eyes) of our best season in near three decades? Gradel would want to start. We'd not drop our two wingers for him, and also he might be able to play behind the stiker for us but dobbie has that role sewn up very tight. Should really be then end of this discussion, but I bet it won't be.
Well I think we could go back and for all night and I'm fairly bored with it now. Suffice is to say that should Gradel choose and come to Swansea and play premier league football he would be a great addition to our squad. Although with Fulham now joining in the chase he could end up going there. Mind you, London.... Why the **** would anyone go there?? what have they got to offer AughAughAugh
Sinclair scored 19 league goals, as did Gradel. Though I believe Sinclair scored more than Gradel from the penalty spot as well. Yes, because Gradel works as hard as Dyer, scores you loads and creates loads. That's making the fatal assumption that he'd sign for Swansea of course. Though it would take a seriously thick management to deny Gradel a first team place because of some sentimental, baseless bias towards Sinclair and Dyer. MK Swans: it's not a question of what London has to offer, it's a question of Fulham being an even smaller club than his previous team Leicester!
This whole size matters things is back... I don't understand your obsession with "big" clubs. Fulham to may be a smaller club than Leeds and Leicester (in attendance) but have they not been in the Premier League for quite a while now??? The size of a club is completely irrelevant, unlike what league they are in and how they are being managed and the club is being run!!
Wow!! Great debate on Universities, places of natural beauty and living conditions. However Isn't this topic about a ''rumour'' regarding Max Gradel??
Yeah it is mort it's bloody hilarious that the Leeds fans are in meltdown because a bog paper has printed garbage, they take things very seriously in Leeds when it comes to rumours, thank god nobody mentioned ufo's and yeti's - oops they are calling me names and everything on their forum, to their credit they haven't told me to get back to the welsh leagues and it's our league etc, unlike the qpr fans lol
Quite possibly mate phil has his hands full with the qpr rugby team, I will handle the leeds meltdown , I wonder what is awaiting me in the Leeds forum **** a duck appears to be the only one who likes a debate, but he likes to be dominated, complex lot these Leeds fans are, will ask sheeshkebab what he thinks on Facebook
'**** a duck appears to be the only one who likes a debate' And the odd quote haha Can't believe they want £8M for Snodgrass WTF

They thought they were down here playing rugby when they broke dorus's jaw, they weren't down here playing football that's for sure
Leeds: one of the top five cities which is best prepared to face the economic squeeze. Swansea: one of the top five cities which will be worst affected by the cuts. No wonder you're all so bloody friendly and healthy when the government's propping your ailing city up! Link: http://www.centreforcities.org/citi...-create-jobs-and-drive-economic-recovery.html
