"I think Hull City weathered the storm well, West Ham rode their luck and Hull definitely deserved something from this game. Where Sam is concerned they have gone ahead of Hull and got the three points, this will have dragged Hull in to a relegation battle and hopefully West Ham can kick on to better things."

"As far as I'm concerned the reaction towards Sam Allardyce is unbelievable, the lack of confidence in the players was evident for everyone to see and that was due to the frustration of the fans.

"There were two teams there one who was comfortable with ten men playing the ball around and looking comfortable and West Ham could barely pass water if truth be told."

What tosh, basicall y they were useless, we weren't but we are in a relegation battle are they aren't....what?

Big Sam is lost without PB telling him what to do- tonight being another case in point.

Can't disagree with a word of it.

With that win it would take something unheard of for West Ham to go down, in fact it may not even be mathematically possible, considering so many of the bottom half teams still have each other to play, there might not be a sequence of results that could see 7 teams go above them.

We are still in a relegation fight, even if we've just about got our heads out of the water.

To be fair, they probably were. They probably did exactly as he wanted.

Remember it's that fat twat, a magnificent performance to him would be seeing his team disciplined at keeping 10 men behind the ball at all times, seeing the lone striker chasing back to their own byline to make tackles, picking opposition players in the head, getting dodgy penalties....

It really was a complete performance for him.

Read a great comment from a Hammers fan, too:

"...anyone who watched the 4 games in February knows that Big Sam deserves more than Manager of the Month - he deserves the ****ing Nobel Prize for discovering the ability to detach his soul from his body and use it as physical currency with the devil..."

    Brilliant :D

There will be at the moment, we're probably 4 games away from it becoming a possibility of mathematical safety. I've been looking and thinking the Arsenal game for us if results go right for us with other teams games in hand and our week off for going to Wembley. With 7 or 8 games left like there is now we could be playing each other every week and all get 9 or 12 points by winning home games and losing away and that would put us all above them.

    That made me laugh loudly.

2 mates of mine who went, and are Hammers fans told me they were surprised but pleased when McG got sent off because they could see it being a rout if we had 11 players. They also couldn't believe their luck with the own goal too because in their own words, they couldn't see them scoring in a brothel, and were nervous every time we surged forward.

Overall view was they looked like they had 10 men and were clinging on for dear life. They didn't boo but can understand why some did at the end, the team were lucky, didn't play as well as they'd expect, and while 3 points was an undeserved bonus, they can't rely on good luck every week.

Not that OP can't fight his own battle, TWF, but having checked the table, I can see West Ham easily being dragged back down.
It's 1 point, and an inferior goal difference.

Have you checked both the form table and respective opponents yet?
Granted our form isn't anything to write home about, but West Ham's opponents are arguably tougher.

Also the way they are playing, I can see them not picking up another point.

    TL : DR... Don't be a tool.

West Ham fans know just how ,lucky they got on wednesday. Thanks to 2 of the match officials they got away with a win that would not have happened under normal circumstances. West Ham wont go down now but they are a long way from being the West Ham that there fans want them to be. Time is up for Fat Sam and his style of survival football now. imo.
