So a conversation between Turkish political and military leaders has been leaked on YouTube, and the PM's reaction has been to ban YouTube. And what was this conversation about? They were planning a false flag operation in Syria to give them an excuse to start a war.

"I'll send 4 men from Syria, if that’s what it takes. I’ll make up a cause of war by ordering a missile attack on Turkey; we can also prepare an attack on Suleiman Shah Tomb if necessary." - Hakan Fidan, head of Turkish intelligence agency.

Just to be really clear on what they were planning there...they were going to fire missiles at themselves and say Syria did it.

Oh man. As well as being awful, this is just going to give the likes of Alex Jones and Banana more fuel.

Croatia wasn't a country when I was born. Basically a **** ton happened in 1991.

As a mere youngster compared with some on here, I can state that when I was born Sri Lanka was still Ceylon, Rhodesia had yet to become Zimbabwe (it could still feed itself and other African countries), and Northern Ireland wasn't referred to by the Beeb as the "north of Ireland".....oh, and Marilyn Monroe was still alive.

Also important to remember that this was a big day for UKIP supporters and they were all probably watching, whereas no one else cares nearly as much.

I remember when an opinion poll giving one leader a 57% vote on performance compared with another's of 37% wouldn't be sidelined by pundits eager to give credit to the loser. Then again, I'm no spring chicken. Maybe things have changed.

As for the keenness of UKIP supporters to watch the programme....true, but then again people with a passion are more likely to vote in a referendum as well! Not that they'll ever get one.
