Are you being serious?? This has been the most exciting title race in years. And the bottom half is a mini-league of pain as well. I've never seen it so tight. The only boredom is Newcastle because they're safe, but without any chance of pushing for Europe.

Only because Manure have imploded <ok>

One of the reasons why I would love it if Liverpool win the PL is because Gerrard deserves a league title for all his years of being a top player and his loyalty to just one club.

A quote from a Sunderland fan, who is obviously quite miffed by his team's no-show on Saturday. Does he have a point? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Just read that article (it's otherwise a nice one!) I agree with the goal music - that should really go. It is a bit too American for me - next thing we'll be having advert breaks (though I might not object to the cheerleaders ./. )

The clappers, perhaps bizarrely, I object to less. There is at least a history of having clappers at football grounds until banned as weapons. The only thing is they are pretty bad for the environment!

I vote get rid of the goal music.

Clappers every now and again don't bother me. Just not every home game eh?

The goal music never bothered me, I actually quite enjoyed it, but I haven't been bothered by it's absences and now it's back it just doesn't seem to fit as well. Not that we here it very often!

We do have a very good record when the clappers come out, but I wish we wouldn't it just makes the atmosphere seem so manufactured, whilst admittedly louder than usual. Goal music I'm torn on, I'm not hugely a fan but i did grow up with that goal music and it always makes me smile even if i hear it outside of a football context.

The thing about the clappers is it gets the whole ground making noise rather than just the Barclay and the Snake Pit. It maybe be manufactured but clearly we need that in 3/4 of the ground because there's very little noise coming from them.

Our family club image is great but it definitely makes for quieter fans for the most part.

I'm not sure we really differ from other clubs in that respect. These days most home fans are relatively quiet apart from one area or section. Away fans tend to make more of a noise.
