By my calculation the 28 day period that WH had to recall Morrison expired on Friday which means that we have him now to the end of the season and the play offs which look increasingly likely. That is good news and I think it could be very exciting when he finally gets to team up with Austin. Hope he doesn't get injured or we will be buggered.

The boy certainly knows how to find the net.
As you say, him and Charlie could be coming together at the right time.

Great news! Morrison seems like he just loves playing football, and he's very good at it. I wished he was ours.

I guess if he doesn't want to back there, they will be looking to sell in the summer. It would be nice to think we might be in the running, but we would probably need to gain promotion before he would consider a permanent move.

I admit I wasn't enthused given that he supposedly had an injury but I am quite happy to take it all back.

It would be nice if we could sign him in the summer but he would only consider us if we were back in the premiership.

    Excellent player.

With Austin on the way back and Suk-Yung looking far better than expected am beginning to be confident we could win the playoffs.

Season defining news if accurate. He's been excellent, to good for this division like Taarabt last time.

I wrote this after the first half of his debut at Charlton:

Yes - Harry's "old boys" relationship with Big Sam probably helped in securing his loan to us and also they didn't want him at relegation rivals Fulham.

West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison denied a transfer as his club dig in over £10m fee
Club ready to let midfielder go cheaply in the summer as Sam Allardyce hopes to clinch deal for Roma striker Marco Borriello

In demand: Ravel Morrison was the subject of a £4m bid from Fulham

West Ham United have told Ravel Morrison they are willing to risk losing him for a knock-down fee in the summer.

The club are refusing to drop their £10 million valuation of Morrison and have yet to offer the midfielder a new contract.

That means Morrison will have just 12 months remaining on his deal at the end of the season, but West Ham are prepared to take that gamble.

Fulham therefore have little chance of landing Morrison before the transfer window shuts after failing with a £4 million bid and being reported to the Premier League by West Ham for an allegedly illegal approach to the player. West Ham were furious that Rene Meulensteen, the Fulham head coach, claimed Morrison wanted to join him.

David Sullivan and David Gold, the club’s co-owners, are adamant that Morrison will only leave Upton Park in the final week of the transfer *window if West Ham receive a £10 million offer and that seems unlikely.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...transfer-as-his-club-dig-in-over-10m-fee.html

There is a clause in Morrison’s contract that states West Ham must increase his earnings to £60,000 a week if the club receive a £10 million bid and Sullivan and Gold are using that as a price guide for the England Under-21 international.

However, West Ham accept they will have little option but to sell Morrison for a reduced fee if the club are relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Sam Allardyce, the manager, *singled out Morrison for praise after the 3-0 Capital One Cup semi-final second-leg defeat by Manchester City. “Ravel looked comfortable and he tried to find the right space and the right pass,” Allardyce said. “He worked quite hard, which is always important, so we’ll look for him to keep that up.”

Meulensteen worked with Morrison at Manchester United and had been desperate to land Morrison this month, but has now made a move for Steven Defour, the Belgium midfielder at Porto.

Newcastle could make a bid for Morrison in the summer if the former United youngster performs well for the rest of the campaign.

I'm pretty sure they can recall him after 28 days, so he could be gone any time.

He's this seasons taarabt and would be crucial in the playoffs.

He's definitely proving that, we're really lucky to have him.

"West Ham do have the option to recall their player after 28 days"

Unfortunately though, it now looks like he could be........

Ravel Morrison joins QPR from West Ham on 93-day loan
    • Deal runs up to Championship play-off final
    • Midfielder refuses to write off World Cup dream

Ravel Morrison will spend the rest of the season trying to help Queens Park Rangers get out of the Championship – a move he does not believe will put a late call-up to England's World Cup squad beyond him.

Having seemingly overcome a troubled start to his professional career, the 21-year-old attacking midfield finally came to the fore for the right reasons this season.

Morrison shone for West Ham after breaking into the first team, scoring a fine solo goal in the 3-0 win at Tottenham, and quickly became an important player for the England Under-21s.

Such performances saw the Manchester United academy graduate's stock rise markedly, with the England manager, Roy Hodgson, saying just before the turn of the year that he had "great faith" in him and "enormous admiration" for his ability.

However, less than two months on, Morrison's lack of playing time has seen him step down to the Championship to join QPR in a 93-day emergency loan and looks to have seen any World Cup chances go up in smoke.

The forward is not giving up and when asked if he can still make the plane to Brazil, he said: "Hopefully. It is a bigger step than it was, but hopefully it can happen, yeah."

To do that Morrison will need the game time denied to him at West Ham, with speculation rife as to why that dried up under the West Ham manager, Sam Allardyce, especially having rejected overtures for him from Fulham in January.

" I just want to help QPR get to the Premier League – that's my only objective during my time here," he told QPR's website.

"If we manage to do that, it would be great for everybody connected with the club.

"All I want to do is play football. I just want to show everyone what I can do week in, week out.

"The aim here is to get the club promoted and I want to contribute in helping QPR to get there."

Morrison will wear the No 4 shirt for QPR and is likely to make his debut against Charlton on Saturday.

His arrival may well prove a timely shot in the arm for Harry Redknapp's side, whose tilt at an immediate return to the Premier League has begun to stutter.

QPR's 3-1 home defeat to Reading on Sunday leaves them four points off the automatic promotion spots, while their loan move from Morrison covers the possibility of the play-offs.

West Ham do have the option to recall their player after 28 days, but Redknapp hopes to keep him for the entire loan period as he believes he can make a "big difference" to the team.

"Ravel is fit and ready to play and I'm hoping he can come in and make an impact," the Rangers manager said.

"He's got fantastic ability, there's no doubting that. He's got great pace, can dribble and score a goal.

"If we can get the best out of him, he could make a big difference."

Getting the best out of Morrison is not always easy – just ask Sir Alex Ferguson – but Redknapp is confident of doing just that.

The QPR manager has spoken in length to his Birmingham counterpart, Lee Clark, about how to utilise the Morrison's talents, having spent the 2012/13 on loan at the second city club.

"I spoke with Lee and he absolutely loves him," Redknapp said. "He said he'd take him back tomorrow if he could.

"He's certainly a talented footballer – he's just got to step up now. He's got to come here and show what he can do consistently. He's got everything. We're pleased to have him here."

Why does every comment have to be about our manager or the players you don't like. Anyone would think you want us to fail.
