Unbelievable!! The youngest is out with mates in Reading and apparently did a jig around KFC as the two late goals went in. Me and the eldest were watching Gillette and praying that we'd hang on for the draw. Then I joked that Sterling would say that there was a late goal at the Riverside......................and then he did!!!! We went berserk! Big, big 3 points!! URrrrrrrrsssssssss!!!
Carroll was passionate - looked like he cared - dived in a box twice. Suk Yeung was fantastic - play him for the rest of the season please
It was Zamora's flick on too for Morrison's goal. If he can stay fit, Gregory should stay on the bench, or perhaps he is still only fit enough for one half. I was impressed with Suk Yun. Boy, that ref was on our side, he really wanted us to finish with 11 men. To think that moments earlier we came close to losing 2-1.
Harry usually sends Kevin bond out to do the post match interviews when we've lost. Bet he'll be doing it this afternoon!
Carroll played the same as usual.....take that as you will. Busy, tried to get involved, passing still poor.
His passing is his strongest asset. I think some people just don't like him, no matter what he does. Same with Hoilett..........did he make a difference when he came on? Mind you, I'm the same with Kranjcar!!
No, he played the full 90 away to Huddersfield, second game of the season. He looked very good then as well. I thought that along with Hill they were the outstanding players today. I can't say that it was that good a game but it was reasonably enjoyable as we tried to attack. Definitely better than at Charlton & Wednesday. The added on time was incredible. I thought they had scored & then the next picture on the stream was Zamora turning away from the goal celebrating. How funny that was seeing the replay! You also knew Morrison would score directly he knocked the ball too far away from himself but Boro decided not to go close to the ball. You've got to feel for any Rangers fan that went today but left before those crazy last two minutes!
Tony Fernandes tweets....."Hmm got so many people slagging me off on Bobby zamora" "I have the last laugh. Well done boys". I wouldn't call it the last laugh just yet but happy to see something positive happening for Z. Yes it was a tap in but that one touch might give him another boost towards being a player that will contribute a few more goals in the run in
Well if they did I have no sympathy. I can never understand it, especially when the game is in the balance!
Junior was his normal self. Every time he had pocession he just ran striaght into the Boro players & gave them the ball. Mind you, he was far better than what O'Neil gave us.
His short passing is OK. His long ball game is poor. I don't have a problem with the guy at all. I leave the continuous digs and over the top criticism of our players to others here. I prefer to stay positive.
