Young Lenny is at a loss to why English clubs have snubbed him . The poor guy is feeling rather depressed that his talents haven't had the interest he feels they deserve from our friends in Nigelshire . <wah>

Any suggestions on possible reasons for this situation ?
 
Reported on Radio Scotland that Lennon is disappointed he's had no interest from the Premiership. They also reported that Peter Lawell said last year that he expected this season to be Lennon's last at Celtic before being lured south.
 
Lennon himself on Radio Scotland at the moment saying he was speaking in general terms that he finds it disappointing that young British managers don't get a crack at the Premiership.

Also said he would like to see Celtic playing in the Premiership.

About this season he's saying it's no been great and gives himself a rating of 7/10.

What questions was Lennon asked and what were his responses to those questions? We don't know because the anonymous hack who wote this pile of excrement never actually bothered to make it clear what he actualy interviewed Lennon about, in fact we don't know if this was an interview at all and not simply random soundbites from a press pack question and answer session which have been quoted totally out of context.

Ask yourself why Neill Lennon would tell anyone from the media that he was seemingly desperate to land a job down south?

The answer is he wouldn't, Lennon, unlike this particular scribe is not a complete and utter idiot.

Murdo Macleaod speaking on Radio Scotland gave him 6/10

Obviously the league is sown up, but performances in cup competitions have been less than impressive. I think a 5/10 is fair.

Nah, Aldo's just having a laugh, he knows fine well the papers talk a lot of cack and make up stuff all the time.

The point Lennon makes about his own future is clear. He is in no rush to leave Celtic, but he wants a shot at the Premier League in due course. And he feels he may not get it because the default setting among the chairmen and chief executives down south is to go foreign rather than to go British.
