Midfielder Leadbitter will miss the game against Harry Redknapp's men, and the trip to Huddersfield which follows it next Tuesday evening, after picking up his 10th booking of the season in the 0-0 draw at Bournemouth last weekend. Striker Carayol was even more unfortunate at the Goldsands Stadium, however, as he suffered damage to his anterior cruciate ligament which will require surgery and rule him out for the rest of the season. There is a glimmer of hope for Karanka with central defender Jonathan Woodgate back in training after missing the last three games with a calf injury. QPR are hoping for some positive injury news ahead of the trip to Middlesbrough. Goalkeeper Rob Green could return after missing the 3-0 midweek defeat at Sheffield Wednesday with a rib injury and midfielder Jermaine Jenas should overcome a hamstring niggle. And right-back Danny Simpson, an ever-present until he was sidelined by a back problem in mid-January, has returned to training and could also be available. But fellow defender Richard Dunne is suspended after his red card at Hillsborough while Kevin Doyle, Ale Faurlin (both knee), Andrew Johnson, Matty Phillips (both ankle) and Charlie Austin (shoulder) remain sidelined. please log in to view this image - - - please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Head-to-Head ⢠QPR won the earlier meeting 2-0 at Loftus Road in September. ⢠They have won the last three meetings without conceding, since Middlesbrough's 2-0 win at the Riverside Stadium in February 2010. ⢠QPR won the last meeting at the Riverside Stadium 3-0 in February 2011, having lost the previous four meetings there in all competitions. Sorry mate, I've just got in from a retirement do and was a bit pushed for time as I'm also working in the morning. I had a quick look for a female Karanka but sadly to no avail. It's a shame Boro haven't got a manager named Pinder or Titmuss.
No Morrison...or is that the hangover kicking in I assume we want Forest to lose.....makes a playoff place more easy to achieve? Or am I confused
Derby 3 up as are Chelsea and Arsenal have had a player sent off although the ref sent the wrong person off.......
Absolutely bizarre:- Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain:- please log in to view this image versus Kieran Gibbs:- please log in to view this image
@OfficialQPR: BREAKING TEAM NEWS: @OfficialQPR XI: Green, Morrison, Hill (c), Carroll, Keane, Yun, Onuoha, Barton, Hughes, Kranjcar, Benayoun #MIDvQPR @OfficialQPR: BREAKING TEAM NEWS: @OfficialQPR Subs: Murphy, Simpson, Hoilett, Zamora, O'Neil, Donaldson, Petrasso #MIDvQPR
-------------------------Green------------------------ Hughes-----------Onuoha-----------Hill------------Yun ----------------Barton-----------Carroll--------------- Banayoun--------------Morrison---------------Kranjcar ----------------------Keane-------------------------- I presume we will line up something like this. That midfield worries the hell out of me. Could be run ragged!!
Look at the bench though....long term injuries/worries on Simpson, Hoillet, Zamora and O'Neill I really think we are down to bare bones now...Judo said "Anyone but Keane and Carroll"....not sure there is anyone fit enough to play in away match at Boro......with Wigan coming on Tuesday Nice to see some game time especially for Petrasso...wish we had Hitchcock
Shocking line up. Can't see us posing any threat with that line up. Brace yourselves for another 3-0 defeat.
Keane starts again. I know our injurylist is long as john holmes "instrument" but would you think ever joe jordan could still do better......?
