You don't need Wiki... just me, a couple of the other old farts and a couple of pints in the pub! Next time you sneak in to Northampton to play Golf or meet at a game.

    Steve Williams... proper player.

I live just a couple of miles outside of Lancaster in Galgate, right near Lancaster University. Been a life long Saints fan as my dad was born in Southampton. Morecambe is an interesting place.

All I remember from that game is I was in the Clock End, and the noise and sea of blue that erupted onto the pitch....

Laurie Mac said after that season "We had a great season - we were an inch from making it a miraculous season"

I was on the side terrace beneath the Everton fans who were piling over into our area towards the end of extra time. It all kicked off then.

Yep, I was in the side terrace as well, poor game, remember Stevie Williams playing when injured. Think he limped out of the tunnel and onto the pitch from memory?

I was just over halfway line, nearer to The North Bank than the Clock end

A few years later when Adrian Heath was an assistant or something of Everton and was in the dugout, we played them at the Dell. I was right next to the dugout and I saw him go to the touchline just in front of me and shouted "Adrian!, Adrian!". To my shock he turned round and said "What?!". I just said "You ruined my childhood". He smiled and turned around....

Heath and two others I always loathed. Bailey and that git Davis for breaking Cockerill's jaw.

If you were stood behind the goal he scored in, you'd have been in the Everton end.

I watched the goals in one match so often that I remembered the tv angle more than the one seen live. Can happen.
